Oh no, micro USB, the devil in disguise…..
What high sped data are you wanting to transfer that micro USB can't handle?
Lol data transfer isn't applicable, it's a speaker. Just more convenient if it's the USB C standard so your can use more standard cables you already have.
Quoting what I said last time:
"Don't be scammed, this is just an ordinary crappy bluetooth speaker like you get from the dollar shop, not a "smart speaker".
Like a $2 headset, you can press a button to activate google/siri on your phone."
Really? Bluetooth 5 connectivity, micro usb charger, Li polymer battery, usable with google and siri (something I avoid) for $8.00? Why are you here?

Yep, BigW themselves sell something similar for $9 in store, normal price. No need to pay postage or wait for MyDeal.
And no bullshit implying it has smart features. But you can still invoke siri/google from your phone in the same way.

a dollar extra for 3/5 of the battery size. Battery type not specified in a no name brand - I wouldn't be surprised if it's nicad. It is still awesome value if it works - those switches look like something that won't last long. Just by looks alone the teac looks better quality and it definitely has a better battery. If you look at techxtras speaker, what do you see? I see something that won't last long before battery or switches are faulty, or charging port; there's no part of this I would trust. Perhaps it looks better than these photos though.
@poohduck: Sorry, I can't get past them lying about having voice assist.
TEAC meant to be a quality Japanese manufacturor?
Junk
Good, cheap BT speaker for my toddler to toss around when he's on song. I don't understand the hate, though. It's $8 delivered for a bluetooth speaker from a decent brand. The 8 bucks would barely be covering the cost of postage, let alone the speaker. For that price, I don't care if it's micro usb, as long as it comes with a charging cable.
Perfect for @Sainter Dad
Thanks - but no thanks - this is the 'present for the sake of giving a gift' type.
The bloke in the listing photo seems to be having an existential crisis over his audio choices
Probably wondering where the sound is coming from considering the speaker was photoshopped in post production (bloody horrible photoshopping as well).
I thought this brand was gone from Australia?
Tempted to buy this for the nostalgia.
Something with an AKAI logo next please ghosts of brands past!!
Landfill
