Does it connect to your Apple Music by any chance?

  • Micro USB. :(

Cheers although online only so it’s only free delivery if you have OnePass, which we all should with that recent deal.

      • Standard delivery shows as FREE!

OnePass is unavailable as is a Coles Group delivery system.

        • Free at Big W, no it isn’t but in regards to the delivery it’s only for certain postcodes that is free.

Ah yes sorry was thinking of Target.

          • @bobwokeup: Big W is also a MyDeal deal via BigW Marketplace. So same "free shipping" conditions.

Checked ordering - Standard delivery shows as FREE for me in Qld
            WA is usually more expensive!

            • @INFIDEL: Oh I didn’t know that. Do you have a link to the Big W marketplace or better yet this item? I’ve never heard of it.

              • @bobwokeup: Above BigW link shows it's sold by MyDeal on BigW Market

                • @INFIDEL: Had to scroll down a little bit on the Mobile and saw it in small writing… I rarely shop at Big W as the customer service at all stores I’ve visited is terrible and Kmart has everything that they do anyway!!

    • It's same Deal… Sold & shipped by MyDeal - a BigW Marketplace Seller

Don't be scammed, this is just an ordinary crappy bluetooth speaker like you get from the dollar shop, not a "smart speaker".

Like a $2 headset, you can press a button to activate google/siri on your phone.

Bought this for $6.05 last year and I just unboxed it for the first time yesterday.

Yeah it sounds exactly as you expect it to, if you turn the volume more than halfway up there is a lot of audio clipping / distortion. It can go surprisingly loud despite it's diminutive size (sounds horrible though)
Note that there is no volume buttons on the unit. The top button on the speaker is just a shortcut for your default voice assistant (Gemini / Siri / Bixby)

I just use it to play white noise when I sleep.

wow I have not seen the brand "TEAC" in many years.

    • +3

I don't think they really exist anymore, their website redirects to Tascam. Which I assume was their only profitable division for a long time. Anything now with the TEAC logo I would suggest is some cheap crap licensing the TEAC name.

  • TEAC should bring back the CRT television and VHS tape players.

Aaaah, 'TEAC', 'TANDY' 'RADIO-freakin-SHACK'! … Those were the days …

      • What about: TDK does amazing things… to my system

    • TEAC used to be a high-end brand, believe it or not.

    • I got the model up from this one with the (useless) 5w wireless charger on top for around $12.

but it was new but unopened stock. not really a great speaker but it does the job for watching video and has good battery life.
