  • Hope Bunnings is still going through the orders and is cancelling the ones that ordered more than 1 so others can get their orders fulfilled too. So far nothing has shipped and they can still change who gets what.

  • Folks based in Melbourne - anyone keen to get the installation done together sometime in mid-late Jan (assuming that it will take a couple of weeks for the charger to be ready for collection from our local Bunnings) so that we can aim towards negotiating a better rate going through the same installer / electrician. Feel free to PM me if you are keen in doing so.

        Let's hope Bunnings & EVSE aren't trying to go back on their promise and deceive us!

        Still have the official Bunnings email acknowledgment of price mistake and honouring the Ocular EV Charger order with one to two weeks delivery delay.

        Will come in handy during the complaint process in case it's only the EV cable delivered.

        Weird how anything Ocular or EVSE on Bunnings is removed and none existent…

    Hey gang, Zingerburger back again with another update.

    Called up Bunnings online support again on 1800 797 586.

    Customer rep lady said while some orders have shipped (since she has personally assisted other customers who have called about their price error Ocular orders), most of them are stuck with the supplier still, due to shutdown period until 06 Jan 2025. Bunnings online orders processing team is also away till 06/01, so I should hear back from Bunnings some time next week.

    • They must be busy. Fingers crossed for this week.

    I was informed that bunnings have received them yesterday 6th and distributing to stores.

  • Just received a paypal refund email. No email from Bunnings though of the refund, considering I received an email from them on the 12/12 saying my order was being fulfilled.

    • I had ordered the CHARGER LEAD AND CT CLAMPS 7KW OCULAR IQ HOME SINGLE PHASE 0708246, and received the "mistake but will fulfil" email.

      A week or two back, my original order magically added "CHARGER LEAD AND CT CLAMPS 7KW OCULAR IQ HOME SINGLE PHASE
      I/N: 0708249" as well. So 2 items, total of $307. Both "order taken"

      Looking up 0708249 in the Powerpass app, it refers to the Ocular LTE single phase, not the Home IQ.

      This morning, 0708246 cancelled, but 0708249 remains as "order taken".

      I called Bunnings Support, and they said the order has not been cancelled, but they couldn't tell me exactly what I'd be getting, or when I'd receive it. At least it hasn't been cancelled…yet!

        So continuing on from this, yesterday I received an email from Bunnings special orders:

        "Update you on your online order WXXXXXXXX for our I/N 0708251 Ocular Charger Lead & CT Clamps 22kW IQ Home Three Phase.

        The item which you originally ordered was unable to be supplied to us due to a pricing error. Bunnings are currently sourcing a replacement item which we can supply to you at the same price that you paid for your original item which was $250.00.

        The replacement item is our I/N 0708247 Ocular Charger Plus Three Phase 22kW 6m Cable and App, and we are waiting for our supplier to provide an estimated arrival time for this item.

        Your original order was refunded to you on 08/01/2025, so if you would like to go ahead with ordering the replacement item we would need to create a new order and process a payment for $250. Please let us know if you would like to go ahead with ordering the replacement item for $250."

        I've gone ahead with the order.

    Zingerburger back again. TLDR: It is still good news.

    My original order was for I/N 0708251 "CHARGER LEAD & CT CLAMPS 22KW OCULAR IQ HOME THREE PHASE" under my original order number with a "-1" at the end.

    That item has now been "Cancelled" but on the same order (order number with "-2" at the end), a new item has appeared with I/N 0708247 "CHARGER PLUS THREE PHASE 22KW OCULAR W 6M CABLE AND APP"

    I just contacted Bunnings Live Chat customer support and:
    - It looks like there was a pricing error with the supplier on the original, so a new item number was created for the correct details and re ordered for you on XXXXX-2.
    - I can see the team in store have contacted the supplier for lead time who advised they needed to follow up with their head office when they reopened this week. The store does have a follow up scheduled for the supplier today though and will update you once they have more infromation.
    - You will receive a text message this afternoon from the store, to confirm an estimated timeline.

          • @AE: Oh no you didn't read it wrong, I did order the Ocular LTE model, but Bunnings had my order down as the IQ model for some reason.

    • I have also contacted Bunnings after my order for 3 phase iq got cancelled having previously received email for fulfillment.

      Called head office which transferred me to instore, what the store that cancelled my order said was the supplier have ran out of stock so they can't fulfill my order and apparently management is in discussion with supplier for more stock

      However they are not allowed to hold onto payment so had to refund those who's order can't be fulfilled, officially the status is cancelled but she said they "might" offer it to me at the price I paid for if they get stock and no mention of giftcard compensation.

      All pretty disappointing to be honest.

        • That was the $250 LTE one. The product page and image was clearly for the LTE.

          It just said IQ for some reason after the order was put through.

      Yeah but unfortunately it was a boring "we are still waiting for delivery from supplier for your order", so it was more of a non-update if anything.
