I've had my eye on this for awhile and this is the first time it has been on special.
Appears to be plenty of stock - bought one via click and collect as I can't get there this week.

search function showed this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/675615
SOLD OUT
@jv: yeah 2 years ago, more recently here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15256216/redir
That's a different product though
Wouldn't try do any impact heavy work on it.
😲
That's what the dining table is for
Agree. I wouldn’t get another one.
Yes! I prefer Rack It shelving. So strong and so versatile. I've had mine for over 5 years without any issues.
weird because SCA don't sell this, the bunnings one weighs 50% more for starters and doesn't have a sliding drawer
Hey good point, I've got the sca one with drawer. So people take my comment with a grain of salt as its not exactly the same product.
Can also +1 that this build is awful.
I have the version with a drawer and it has only reaffirmed to me that I should just go build my own that wont shake/fall apart when a slight breeze hits it.
Christmas is coming so perhaps anyone considering getting this should spend a bit more and DIY their own bench like this one: https://www.workshop.bunnings.com.au/t5/How-To/How-to-build-…
It looks like Bunnings are price matching…
https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/sca-sca-workbench-powder…
SCA one is smaller and only 100kg
If it’s a different product then how are they price matching?
The same way they do with Aldi products…
They don't want to lose sales.
So which one is better?
@jgkeightley: Whichever meets your requirements.
@jv: @jv my requirements?
@jgkeightley: yes, depends on the size of your tools…
@jv: With these dimensions I should have excess space.
Much better quality vs the super cheap version based on comments/reviews.
We've had our supercheap one on a back verandah exposed to sun and blow in rain for over a year, still seems pretty sturdy.
How are people shitting on this when comparing it from a totally different one at a different retailer lol
I suspect some of them are on their period
lol it doesn't even look the same
Don't buy a Toyota hatchback because MG makes a shitty hatchback, I guess?
Ok.
I have LITERALLY THIS PRODUCT purchased from Bunnings last year. And it's fine. Sturdy enough and great quality.
thanks ordered one
size 1405 x 1100 x 540m for those wondering
thinking using it to groom my groodle.
21kg rules that out!!!it's 32kg?
180kg benchtop capacity
not sure where got 21kg from… nice!
see how goes. grooming table. The shelves appear to be unsealed MDF, if that is the case you will probably want to seal them to stop them warping if liquids get on them.
@mapax: gr8 idea…got left over calbot table sealer for this deal
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/850253@mapax: MDF = Hard Pass For me
Been there, done that, wasted my time with MDF shelves before…
This looks like one of those things that you buy but then can't wait to get rid of after using it a couple of times
This one is also on sale (usually $45 down to $38.29):
https://www.bunnings.com.au/pinnacle-1500-x-810-x-310mm-4-sh…Guys, forgive my ignorance but if you just need a workbench, isn't it better to simply buy one of those foldable plastic ones (at least they won't take up a massive space in the garage when you're done)
they are probably too flimsy to do any work on
Bosch Mobile Portable Work Bench Table, 4.7 Stars - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B007R9WICU
Was on sale for BF too
the whole point of a "work" bench is to leave your half finished projects on to age
But some people want something there to work on and not have to set up. It's piece of furniture at the end of the day for your garage. It's there to quickly do something, maybe you need something to rest on quickly to drill something for like 30 seconds. Setting up even spending a minute longer to open up and fold away something is a PITA and looks like sh!t.
These are flimsy as hell, Bought one from SCA ebay for $50. Not worth $82..
