    Yep, i was also "eligible" for recontracting an existing service, but then the code couldn't be applied.
    After chatting with sales support, it appears that the offer only applies if you recontract AND purchase a new device. It doesn't apply if you go sim-only.
    So have decided to churn out elsewhere.
