This laptop is in the Good Guys catalogue for $788.00 but on there online page shows as $630. A friend needed a laptop and got it for $630 in store. The cheapest on static ice is $716 + Freight (staticice shows the cheapest as $686.53 but if you click through its actually $716.

The good guys catalogue say this has 1GB dedicated memory for graphics, every one else lists it as 2gb.

    It would be pretty strange for a laptop with an i5 to have 1GB of RAM. Even if it does only have 1GB it's easily upgradable to 8GB for slightly more than $50.

      It has 4GB of ram. The 1GB is referring to graphics card memory but I suspect it actually comes with 2GB of graphics memory as that's whats listed on the HP website.

    These cheap note books are a very good game computers. With the NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M (2 GB DDR3 dedicated) graphics card they are probably the most capable gaming laptop around under $1000
