Powered by Optus - Instant NO after the gargantuan mess they did with the implementation of the 3G shutdown. Not like Telstra was any better but Optus was the worst among the two at how they want about blocking devices.

  • So much… i just need 40gb a year data….

Circles tend to get a bad wrap here but I’ve personally only had hassle-free experiences. Not a bad deal for my fellow sim sluts

Same here. +1 to this deal.

Thank you for the phrase "sim sluts"

      • +1

Mate. They're the best kinda sluts

Same here. I used them for my home internet with the SIM in my LTE modem for 4 months and had zero problems. The only reason why I left them is because I got a good deal on NBN so decided to go to NBN for my home internet.

  • How are their speeds?

I remember a few years back that they seemed to limit the speed quite a lot.

  • What about for current circles customers?

  • any current or past customers know how their voicemail works? do they have visual voicemail (ie voicemails appear in the voicemail section of the iphone phone app) or do you still need to call that 321 number to access voicemails the old school way?

    • Also keen on an answer for this - i need a real voice mail that works. Haven't even made this consideration till i saw this post.

        email them

  • Hey guys, do you know if referals can be combo'd with the coupon code?
Say I pre-pay $17.5 / 50GB for the first month and then refer my friend, does the plan then get reduced to $7.5 per month for 6 months OR a reduction off the base price? IE From $20 to $10.
Because if the referal stacks with the discount then this is banger deal.

  • I know MMS is not included anymore but you can sign up for MMS inclusion

But I can't find any clauses that state MMS is an additional charge?

  • Do they have 5G now?

    • beginning of next year.

    Avoid.

They charge a $10 fee for SIM replacement, and there's an internal limit of how many replacement eSIMs you can request.

I once reached that threshold because none is working, and suddenly I'm no longer able to request a new eSIM, nor my current eSIM works.

TLDR, I no longer can access my own phone number, and the Live Support is non-existent. Already raised dispute to TIO but the telco still doesn't respond. Can't churn out because it needs OTP.

  • These guys are a nightmare to deal with. Basically non-existent support. Plans are quite competitive, so I would rather pay just a few $ more than go through the pain of reaching out to their support team if there are issues (always have issues with activation).
