STOP IT! I am trying to exercise self control here. Cost of living crisis, rental crisis, geopolitical crisis, inflation, interest rate..etc etc.

    • +4

Stop being OzBargainer will solve all the issues for you (I'm 200% sure).

That's why we just booked a holiday so we don't have to think about those things for a while.

    Here we go again!

Currently chasing mine from the last promo. Topcashback for Temu is not trustworthy.

    • +3

Seem a lot of issue with Temu and Topcashback

      • +11

It's not TC, it's Temu, same thing happens with CR and SB.

        • +3

Not sure why you're negged, but you're correct. It's Temu that has issues with TC, SB and CR.

      • +3

Same with shopback, well generally Temu

    • +7

Mine have tracked fine. TCB app on android through to temu mobile website, connected to mobile network.

      • +2

Thank you for listing your combo! I always get uncessarily frustrated when people post that it’s worked for them without any details πŸ˜…

Cash reward has a 100% cashback on new customer ($40 cap)

    • wow how do they make a profit lol

      • based on other review, the cash back has been a hit and miss

      • by not paying up….

  • +4

is there anything worth getting from temu? got 10 items one time, all rubbish

    • I'll be buying some (more) solar garden path lights, a cast iron wok, some gardening gloves, and whatever crap the ms wants.

    • Really depends and you gotta look at the reviews. I’ve bought Christmas deco, some bbq utensils, cleaning tools and were all pretty good. Same shit from Amazon, you just don’t get it next day..

    • Bought a pair of footy boots ~2 years ago for ~$20 delivered. Wear them once or twice a week. Held up well so far.

    • I buy TPU filament for my 3d printer - 1kg for $15 is pretty good! They also have creality hyper PLA for $15 1kg. Oh and carbon fibre PETG for ~$22 1kg

  • +8

these cashbacks are literally like gambling. Its a shame ozbargain is flooded with them

  • +16

probably won't track. very few tracked last deal.

    • +2

Similar prob with Cashrewards and Cashback. Used both for Temu cash back and neither tracked

    • Look at the upvotes on that comment. I'm also downvoting because my last Temu order definitely did not track.

I'm not sure if it's a Temu issue or a TopCashback issue (hoping it's not the latter because I just used their Amazon offer). One possibility is that Temu purchasing is a bit different to other shops. People tend to buy lots of little things over a much longer checkout timeframe (less than hour but more than five minutes) and the Temu website keeps opening new tabs as you navigate around it.

      • +3

Temu issue. They have their own internal affliate network for tracking and it's bad. Especially with Temu auto applying credit and coupons that you'll often miss.

        • This is correct Amazon order tracked through TopCashback without issue.

  • +1

Should i buy a 4060 Ti card? Tempting if the cashback track

    • How much is it?

      • About 600, but would end up 3xx once cashbak is approved

    • I bought a 4060ti (8gb variant) a few months ago (not from temu though) and only bought because the 2070 died :/

Otherwise I would have waited for the 5xxx series.

My point, if you can wait, do so. Not that I see a 5xxx being in the $300 area, just newer tech is all…

      • +1

You probably got the wrong audience in this thread haha.

        • True ahaha

        • not really, I'm all for it.

I have used this promo this morning, but no tracking confirmation yet until now … This is the second time after the 11/11 deal also didn't tracked. Usually no problem with Chrome mobile browser trick. I guess this is deliberate from Temu. Next time I'll use a different account with different phone number (different email of course). Someone mentioned about phone number in other post.

I used the Credit back rewards trick to get Temu credit after purchase that need to be claimed daily for 7 days. It's around $70 purchase to get $50 temu credit for next purchase ;-)

I saved screenshot of the transaction and screen video record it too. It's better for everyone to at least screenshot the transaction before and after purchase (Topcashback page that says "we've recorded your visit"). The screenshot shows the time of my phone too and can be compared with the time at Temu confirmation email.

    • Do you also get tcb/shopback/Cr cashback if you also claim the Temu credit back thing?

      • "Cashback is ineligible on the portion of orders paid with TEMU credit or vouchers."

If for example you have $31.58 temu credit from previous purchase of $46.79 (my purchase in the past) and want to use it, then you purchased $100 for example today minus temu credit $31.58 is what you paid ($68.42). The payment exclude the temu credit is eligible for cashback.

        • I was referring to this, can you get tcb etc cashback AND that rewards thing after

Credit back rewards trick to get Temu credit after purchase that need to be claimed daily for 7 days

          • @MeesusEff: I did this yesterday, but no tracking yet … I guess I have to lodge missing cashback after 7 days …

So, I am claiming the temu credit every day for 7 days ;-) I wish this purchase has been tracked … That will be huge win with around 70% credit back from Temu + cashback from Topcashback :D

            • @neoleo: Yeah, but 95% of us probably just bought straight from the normal search instead of that credit back page

              • @MeesusEff: It's better to plan our shopping. What do we need/want to buy, put the goods in the cart. If we do this in a browser, we can keep the goods we need/want on separate tabs. Then delete/empty the cart (up to you). Open/search the Temu credit back rewards page and the goods may appear on the page to be picked or even similar cheaper goods may appear (happened to me). Pick the goods, then pay. Claim the credit back every day for 7 days. So, later receive cashback + temu credit for next purchase.

    • Whats the credut back rewards trick? Iv been using aliexpress for the past year but have heard lots of good deals and freebies on temu. Might give it a proper go again

      • I only use a mobile browser like Chrome, never use the app or desktop for this. After sign up/login, on the Temu search bar just type "Credit back rewards" or maybe "claimcredit". Then Temu webpage will show spinning wheel and after stop, it will show like 70%, 200% credit back depends on purchase amount. You have to choose/pick the products on that page. For max benefit, purchase like around $70 to get $50 temu credit.

If you have your own list of products that you have chosen or put in the cart, they may appear on the page for credit back rewards to be picked. Or another way that I saw, after I removed goods on my cart, they appeared on the credit back rewards so I can pick them for purchase.

If you cannot find the "credit back rewards", open the "Messages" after tap/click the icon next to the cart. Tap/click "Promotion". Usually there are promo messages that offer "Credit Back" or something similar. Open that link.

So, you must open the "credit back rewards" page or something similar that says up to 70%, 200%. Pick goods on the list. Limit $50 credit back I think, so max ideal purchase is around $70. After payment, you need to claim credit every day for 7 days (total depends on your purchase amount). Just open the page every day for 7 days and click/tap Claim. If you cannot find the page, just type "claimcredit" on temu search bar.

So, the credit back is for the next purchase. I bought mostly what I need from Temu, as cheap as possible mostly. I have researched for things I need/want to buy before I do this credit back rewards trick, so the credit back is used for my next purchase for things I need.

    • @neoleo, what's the Credit back rewards trick? Are you talking about price adjustment? thanks

You can read my comment above. I never use price adjustment. So, I search the Credit back rewards or open the Messages-Promotions in Temu and the credit back offer messages are there also usually. Combine this with cashback promo from cashback companies ;-)

Still waiting after 3 weeks for the last Temu cashback offer… Beware

  • +4

Temu never tracked with topcashback. Had to always file a case.

    • And do you get those cashback?

      • +2

Approved but still waiting for validation period. Haven't got any cash in hand yet.

  • Most of the items I wishlisted from Aliexpress is more than double the price than Temu..

    • Cheaper on Ali or temu?

      • +1

Aliexpress, all are cheaper in Ali but maybe 1 or 2 is cheaper on Temu after 40% cashback

        • Really? Examples? i find temu same or cheaper than ali even without discount.

          • @mrvaluepack: Erghhh I can't paste aliexpress links lol but I had a massage gun, broom and dustpan set and a vacuum insulated flask and cups that are around $5.xx on Ali but couldn't find any under $10 on Temu. The dustpan set on Temu was like $14 lol

            • @MeesusEff: Maybe you not typing or trying proper keywords. Dustpan sets on temu are like for $3-6 aud

              • +1

@mrvaluepack: Oh ffs it doesn't even have a referral code

It's a specific one, long handle brush with the comb to get hair out of the broom. Lowest price is $15.79 on Temu but it's $4.xx on some black Friday deal on Ali. Did a picture search too

                • @MeesusEff: My findings match yours. Ali is cheaper and offer free delivery over $15. Moreover, quality wise Ali is better.

                  • @sekhon147: I did end up buying a couple of things, cheapie stuff is similar to Ali, bought some stickers for the kids, electric precision screwdriver pricing was OK, and some secret Santa stuff

  • Mine haven't tracked in the past, however their customer help have resolved it each time.

Got my cashback each time, so happy to continue using them atm.

  • Sure makes the 4060 so cheap, not sure whether to just take the risk haha

  • worth buying raspberry pi 5 from temu?

    • +1

What are you planning to use it for? For home lab/Home Assistant type stuff, you'd be better off buying a cheap Intel N100 series mini PC from AliExpress for $200 or less.

      • I have an old Intel nuc that I am using for homelab but I just get an itch every now and then to build something. Just my old derelict but still usable devices refuse to die.

  • -1

Is there a limit on purchases? Transactions?

  • Well just spend $219.90

    See how it goes

  • +2

I spent $245 last time NOT TRACK!!!

  • +1

Last 2 orders DID NOT track

  • +1

I was going to order anyway so decided to give it a shot yesterday. Emptied cart, activated, added products. As soon as I selected checkout the chrome extension was not activated, checked out and nothing.

  • +1

Spent $200 last night and applied all recommended actions like clear cart, disable adblock, private mode.

If it doesn't track, biggest cashback scam ever for me.

No tracking so far. I will wait a couple more days, subscribed this thread for awareness of others' progress.

  • Seems it's down to 40% today (assume it's for new & existing customers)

  • Spent $229 last night, if it doesn't track, I will return everything.

    • Raised a claim with topcashback and Got my tracking in a few hours.
      Great job TCB.

now for temu to honour the deal! πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘

      • How did you raise your claim? did it come up as 'on ice' as it hasn't been 7 days?

  • Ended up going through SB at 41% and it tracked. 211 back on the 589$ 4060 Ti. Worth it?

  • Just got my tracking, ordered around 7.30pm yesterday. Spent $150 but $58.63 tracked, not sure why short of $20 in final price

  • Bought $243 worth of stuff last night and it tracked today for 45% πŸ™πŸ½

    • Is that with gst taken out?

      • Oh. i just realised the order was actually for $280 but on TCB it says the order was for only $243. Not sure why tbh

        • +1

          $280 - GST = $254.55

And then there’s a $9.45 calculation discrepancy from TopCashback.

        • +1

Just checked and mine decreased even though I didn't return anything or even claim price adjustment 😑

          • @MeesusEff: Did you use Temu credit to pay? That will decrease your cashback also.

            • @Alinnia: I paid $149 first with tcb and added on like $8 worth of stuff with credit on 1 click pay (no tcb), so they were separate anyway

    • Yeah I bought $149.48 but $130.07 tracked. Took out gst still $2 short. Not sure why they take currency discrepancy when they don't give an option to pay in foreign currency

But at least grateful it tracked, got a bit nervous reading the other comments. Aliexpress tracked in minutes fhough

  • My $95.00 order tracked. This is the third order for me with Temu (1x TCB and 2x SB) and no issues πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ.

Used TCB app (android) with Chrome through to the Temu mobile website.
Cart empty (check that discontinued items are removed as well).
    Tracked in under 12hrs.

    • What was the difference in what you spent and what TCB reported as?

      • Actually spent $99.86. Tracked as $86.75.
Pending cashback of $39.04. Close enough for me.

  • As usual didnt track for 2 orders. Not had one temu track successfully yet on any site though. Its annoying because I forfeited a 20% discount for this, and have some things that should be returned, and waiting for the cashback messes that up.

  • +2

Makes you wonder if it's all a deliberate scheme by Temu to get in the orders, taking chances with a handful cancelling and returning, while the majority of buyers suck it up and become successful sales. And at what point the ACCC should be involved.

  • Mine hasn't tracked - Though a mates went through fine, they ordered all through their phone.

Have submitted a claim, fingers crossed.

  • +1

Yesterday I got confirmation email for this transaction, also checked it in my Topcashback account. Tracked already
    ;-)

I used the Temu credit back rewards trick to get Temu credit $50 from my purchase of $70.89. Cashback from Topcashback is $27.73.

I am claiming the temu credit every day for 7 days as required to get the temu credit $50 to use for next purchase. So, $50 credit back + $27.73 cashback = $77.73 from my purchase of $70.89. Profit πŸ˜„

If I get this cashback without problem, that means I get paid for shopping :P

  • Made a 100$ + order - cashback didnt track.

  • Your Missing Cashback Claim for TEMU (29 Nov 24) has been updated.

This claim was previously 'On Ice' meaning it couldn't be submitted to the retailers until now (7 days after purchase).

Unless you hear otherwise, you don't currently need to do anything, we will submit your claim to the merchant.

What are the chances of actually getting this cashback?

    • I had a similar email… Only tightarse can answer this question

      • @tightarse Have you managed to get any success ? :)

    • Had one order with a large cashback that was the same story and they eventually resolved it. Problem is, any cashback thats upsized with temu doesnt seem to work. It tracked even for orders that I was not expecting cashback for at the regular rate, where I used coupon codes so its quite odd.

  • I have hundreds of temu claims now, and its time consuming, nearly not worth doing cashback as there is always an issue with upsized cashbacks with temu. Is there any chance the rep can look into this and try and fasttrack it for temu, because people are losing confidence. Ive had cases where I was even given a 20% coupon with temu, and used the cashback as it was a better deal, but at-least with that type of deal its 100% certain. I forfeit price changes, and returning things too, so its not really worth it. Something needs to be done with how temu handles these claims as its a problem on all cashback sites.
