  i thought these guys were really awesome to deal with, but i really didn't like their coffee. It's coffee, but not as we know it. I've had other single origin beans from elsewhere, but this was very different. It foams up in my aeropress or syphon, so much that I have to brew it for way longer than it probably needs.

    Sorry to hear this. This is the first negative feedback we've had about our coffee. Did you buy it as whole bean or did you buy it ground? Different beans ideally need different grind settings which could explain some of the issues you are experiencing.

      thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely try out some different grind settings. I use a breville BCG800 grinder (http://streamaster.com.au/breville-bcg800-smart-grinder-378.…)

      i tend to have it on the highest expresso grind or the lowest filter grind. But pretty much the middle of the range. I'll try some others. At the moment I'm varying the length of pressing and the length of steeping.

      I really like the bags you guys deliver in, though. the one way value is awesome for keeping coffee fresh.
