Cashback is issued by Cashrewards, not Apple. To qualify for cash back/points, you must complete your purchase within the same session in which you begin the purchase without leaving your browser. Opening a new tab or returning later will result in a cash back/points that will not be tracked. Last year both SB and CR allowed payment via gift cards. This year SB is not allowing it for cashback. Are you sure CR will track even if paid via GCs ?
