I was looking at some review and i found this is one of a cool walkaround and traveling lense - rrp $899 with current BlackFriday Sales, it seems like a good price!!
Quick before its gone up - the digital camera warehouse had the same price, now gone up $689
For those who with limited budget, Viltrox 40mm F2.5 is also a viable choice.

I don’t think there’s cashback for price matches via Sony right now. I’ve been holding out for them to remove the clause on cashrewards.
Edit: how are you even calculating the $34? It shows 8% on cashrewards if it’s even applicable.

Good lens, very small and light. I have been using it with A7Cii, and it is a great match.
Good deal, was waiting on a deal for this or the 50mm a while ago and ended up jumping on at $699 + 10% cashback for the 50
For reference this store and the digital camera warehouse seemingly have lenses (for our new a7c ii) purchases at cheaper prices than everywhere else.
they're both stores that are eligible for the cashback if the lens qualifies or if it's more convenient JB hifi happily price matched the stores for me too.
I ended up settling on the Sony 24-50mm f2.8 via a price match at JB
