The Ankarsrum stand mixer is a robust mixer made in Ankarsrum, Sweden, particularly useful for baking bread or large quantities of cakes or biscuits because the motor is powerful and is in the base not over the bowl making it very stable. It’s not cheap at $1395 and rarely if ever goes on sale.
For Black Friday week all accessories are 25% off. There’s also a cake tin giveaway with mixer purchase. Blackwood Lane is the sole distributor in Australia. They have a store in Melbourne but also sell online. They’re a family business and lovely to deal with. I have bought a mixer and various accessories from them and also had a minor fault with one of the accessories dealt with swiftly and professionally.
