    If someone goes there can they check if the cashback is for officeworks purchases only, or can it be used with purchases from other stores.

      In order to get the cash back, you need to fill out a claim form which is a PDF linked from the above web page (down at the bottom of the page). One of the requirement is Officeworks receipt. So I guess the answer is "No".
