I have been using Duolingo for nearly one year now, but then I saw this deal that looked enticing.
Duolingo's great, but my one bane is that it requires a constant internet connection so if / when I don't have a connection, it dies on me.
Drops lets you learn offline so that's possibly one good thing it has over Duo.

  It’s a great app for learning vocab. Though I got it back in 2021 for 250 Turkish lira - AUD 11 in today’s exchange rate so probably a bit above that back then, but a lot less than this deal.

        Thanks for that. I tried checking their price via vpn and it's giving me price in TRY, but equivalent to AUD value … maybe i should cycle through a few countries :p

          @suchan: looks like they've made pricing consistent across any geo-location they are in, sadly, it's increased by >1000% since 2021
