  • Is this better than the "Dell S3422DWG - 34" Curved Gaming Monitor 144Hz WQHD" deal? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/877370

    • Can't tell, that dell is on my watching list too.

  • Friends dont let friends buy VA panels these days

There are no alternatives at this price point

Most curved monitors are VA, I wish there is ips version at this price level. Pls link one. Friend always suggests OLED, I just can't afford it.

Awesome how people rise problems without giving a solution.

    • +1

If you are a gamer would like good colors then IPS is superior to VA because it is a faster panel which mean less motion blur.

If you do a lot of creative work such as photo editing then IPS is superior to VA because VA have awful color shift when viewed at different angle. IPS delivers a consistent image.

I'd you enjoy watching dark content such as movies then VA might be a better product for you because of its better contrast ratio.

There are no perfect panel as each technology has its own pros and cons.

  • For those wondering this is a killer deal:

Cheapest ultrawide 180hz on the market
    1000r is a nice curve
    3 years warranty
    Freesync (which means G-Sync also)

Unless there is a review saying otherwise this is a great option under $400

  • I'm trying to find a gsunc Ultra wide. anyone have any suggestions?
