Okay.. -refrigerator is that it is the answer your long suffering wife has been looking for! You can cancel that appointment for your wife's lobotomy as her excitements and tears will be quelled just by sitting in the kitchen and gazing at this fridge. They will need a lobotomy to pay so much.. I still say that's a price error an I won't be doing any rereads, well, not for free.

I have this fridge too (5 years) and can echo is a great purchase. The two things my partner hates about it is that it “sticks out” of our fridge spot and that we are both quite short so reaching to the back of the top section is hard. But it’s perfect in every other way.

BEWARE Mitsubishi Electric: Fridges are fine (though overpriced in my humble opinion) as long as nothing goes wrong. God forbid you claim a repair under warranty. Their 5, 10, 500 year warranties might as well be written in poo on third hand dunny paper. Personal experience, granted from a few years ago, but not just heresay.

yeah me and the wife used an LG 430L for a while and it's plenty, 700L is family sized

FWIW, I bought a 562 litre model about 9 years ago. Freezer aside, it's definitely too big for me, and I would've gone for the 470L one had it been available at the time.
However, it's a great fridge - it's quiet and mine hasn't missed a beat…
Depends what you want to keep in it and for how long.
Throw in the pet food, supplements, etc… and soon you'll need 3 chest freezers and 3 of these fridges.
That depends on what you eat, what you stock, and how often you have people over. If you are planning on not being single in the next 12 months or so, that's a good investment.
This is hands down the best fridge I've ever owned. Extremely easy to clean and very well thought out so there's never any food that's misplaced and forgotten for months.

It is worth the money. 3 years ago it would cost you over $5K. I was lucky enough to get a good 2nd hand for $1500; we love it.
Own this fridge and it's fantastic. Only issue which is not really a major one is the water compartment for the ice maker located in the fridge can get yucky and hard to clean. But the unit is nice.

My fridge was delivered yesterday. Would be happier with a little more freezer space but I can work around this.
One thing that did surprise me was the date of manufacture May, 2022. What have a people got?
I’ve applied for the air purifier and have a claim number but when I go to track my claim to add my serial number it just says my application has been successful. It also says your serial number is 7 numbers and ends in T. Mine is only 6 numbers.
You have to submit your serial number within 14 days of receiving the product. I’ll keep trying for a few more days and then will have to give them a call unless anyone here has a solution.My fridge was delivered on Saturday and I submitted the claim for the air purifier on the same day. Each time I checked, it only said that my application has been submitted successfully and to keep an eye on claim status. There is no way for me to submit the serial number when submitting the claim.
Mine was built in May 2024 and similar to yours, it only has 6 digit serial number with no letter T at the end.
That is pretty rough. The fridge that I took delivery last Monday (2nd Dec) was built in Aug 2024
Just received mine today. Shame they wrecked my floor during delivery. Waiting to see what they'll do about it. May 2024 build with a 6 digit serial number. I submitted the air purifier claim but it didn't ask for a serial number.
Freezer space is too small but that's obvious if you check the spec sheet. I bought a chest freezer to go with it. Bulky items or long term storage goes in the chest and day to day storage in the freezer drawer.

Dragging it around. They’ve accepted responsibility and will get it fixed so if that happens then all good. My air purifier claim was approved today (effectively same business day considering I submitted on the weekend) without a serial number.
