Seems to be a solid deal and new low price as far as I can tell.

Alternative models currently listed:
SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P is $220.44
SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X is $234.33

Was tossing up between the Nova 7 and the HyperX Cloud III Wireless for $188 (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CBQYKFR2 or slightly more per this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/878055). Eventually at these price points the value (price/features) seems to be with the Arctis Nova 7.
Downside is delivery time from Germany is a lot longer than next day for AU.

  • Just a heads-up: I tried to get JB Hi-Fi to price match, but they only match prices from Amazon AU, not Amazon Germany. But your luck may very.

  • Cloud alpha at a slightly higher price point: https://www.amazon.com.au/HyperX-Cloud-Wireless-Gaming-Heads…

Completely torn between the artic 7, cloud III and cloud alpha given these current prices, any audiophiles know the best pick?

    • Not sure about the cloud alpha, but this vid sold the arctis nova 7 over the cloud III wireless for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nd6bruZWxbM

Summary is Nova 7 has a ton of features which makes it more value add, even though cloud III might have the edge on sound and mic quality.
So at the same price it comes down to do you want something that can do many things at a good level, or something that can just do basics at a great level (for this price point).
For this reason I went with the Nova 7 but honestly I reckon I could've bought the Cloud III and been okay with that purchase as well. This is just my guess from watching reviews though, yet to have the unit in hand to check it out.

  • Nova 7X is best for those with Xbox.
If your setup is lacking an Xbox Series X, then the regular Nova 7s are best value- the blue Plsystaion colourway is nice but is it worth $40 to you?

Hyper X seems very similar but shine in Bassy scenarios
Ive got a Sony WHXB910NB that's got very punchy bass and I find their very loud.
I have to turn down most volume settings to 1/3rd of max in some games or it's just way too noisy.

  • I've tried previous steelseries headsets and they were way too small for my massive noggin :(

  • Nova 5X is better then 7 if you don’t mind not being able to listen to music via Bluetooth and game via 2.4 at the same time

  • Are these good for Teams call?

  • Delivery date of Feb, killed this for me

    • Amazon delivery dates are often way off, mine will be delivered 11 Dec after being estimated as 19 Jan.

  • I was also deciding between these and the cloud 3. I've had cloud 2 for many years and very happy with them but they do get hot and sweaty in summer so I've gone for the nova 7's. A bit concerned they'll be too small… we'll see. Delivery estimate 4 Jan but I'm not in a rush and this price is really good.

    • Cancelled my order and bought them again as the price dropped $10. They juat shipped due to arrive 11th Dec :)

      • Thanks, appreciate update

Just to close this off, been using them for a few days now and very happy. Took about 5 mins to adjust them and get the fit right. Very comfortable, much cooler than my hyperx cloud 2's and i really like being able to stream music from my phone at the same time as play a game and have a seperate volume control for that. So far so good 👍

@endor: Cheers, bought as a Xmas present for son and why I couldn't wait before or test them, specifically hunted for them for the dual connectivity
