I just spent 5mins to swap GC then code… gone

  • snagged a G920 full kit for $349, amazon wont play ball so ebay got it. pity it ended so fast!

  • +2

Wait, this was sitewide??!? And all I bought was some dumb Puma sneakers and I could have bought the Meta Quest 3 I wanted? Ahhh nuts.

    • +2

For what it's worth, I was looking at the Quest 3 as well but the only ones I could see are stuck at the original price before the 3s came out, so with a max $100 discount it wouldn't save anything

      • Yeah, not to mention uncle Jack has already paid a visit to most vendors lol

  • Yea! Save myself some $$$ . Was contemplating a few things i don’t need.

  • +3

This coupon said 10 uses per account. Was it not supposed to be released????

    • Really 10 uses..

      • Yep. Just happened to be browsing ebay at the time. Didnt even see OzB going off haha….

        • Apparently commenced Nov 12 too in the code details

    • Looks like typical eBay coding stuff up. It was probably meant for 'eligible items' but was released working site wide (or near site wide) and they pulled it
No idea how long was really intended to go for

    • given its short life, most likely

  • +4

Congrats to everyone who got! Wonder if it'll be fulfilled.

    I learned valuable lesson. Don't Cashback shit when it's cheap… 😂 Missed out on Apple 4k TV 3rd gen wifi+Ethernet 166$~

I stumbled onto it while browsing ebay right at the end, so only placed one order, it's already shipped…

  • +1

Looks like ebay have nixed the PLUS120 coupon too…

    • It's working for me at checkout. It's just not being shown on the item page.

  • WTAF …. how come this only lasted 1 hour 😭😭😭😭

  • I got these two before it timed out. Saved me 1000s i think

Logitech PRO X Superlight 2 Lightspeed Wireless $144
    Logitech G PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED headset $170

    Happy with those deals.

  • I was able to grab 2 x TP-Link EAP670 Access Points for $111 each, absolute bargain

    • I have the 670s currently, used this sale to upgrade to the EAP772 for $209

      • Nice one.
I don't have any wifi7 devices yet so the 670s should be fine for a while

        • Don’t forget you will want a 2.5gbe switch to get the most out of them.
My MacBook Air M3 can put 1.3gbe (130Mb/s) over wifi with the EAP670 in a 2.5gbe port.
Now just need NBN to release the 2000/100 plans next year…..

          • @internet-stranger: I was tossing and turning on 2.5 but decided with just 1gbe as all the connections on my server are 1gbe.
So if I ever upgrade that will also need to be upgraded.

  • damnnnnnnn

    i wanted a quest 3

  • Was there a max discount like other deals? ($300?)

    • +1

      Yes $100

      • +1

Yup up to $100 per transaction, up to 10 times.

    Expired already?

    • Marked expired at 6.17pm

  • if anything good I think these won't get cancelled because the prices people paid seem to be similar to all time low which means they can sell it without loss.

I was expecting some kind of fapmazing prices for all items if the 30% applied to everything and stores hadn't jacked prices properly.

    • if anything good I think these won't get cancelled because the prices people paid seem to be similar to all time low which means they can sell it without loss.

I don't understand your logic here. The sellers themselves aren't taking a loss (if anything this was a fantastic day for some sellers), it's eBay that now has to foot the bill, the seller will receive full profit (minus eBay's fee) for whatever purchases were made during eBay's error.

Depending on the seller (eg. if they have a store subscription, etc), the fees to the seller can range between 8.80% - 13.40% (According to this calculator, which I use as a seller on eBay myself), so essentially eBay is taking that fee from the seller but now having to foot the bill for the difference between whatever the seller pays in fees (Percentage wise) and 30%

I'm not defending eBay (As they clearly stuffed up somewhere, and the result is that a lot of people got 30% on everything) but yeah

      • not sure what you mean, it sounds like you agree with me?

so sellers aren’t selling the items below cost, so no reason to cancel?

it’s the seller/store that cancels isn’t it not eBay?

at least that’s how it was with the recent Kings eBay price error (item was $50 when normally $289). seller canceled all orders and chose one of the reasons from drop down menu.

        • I'm pretty sure Kings themselves stuffed up and applied their own discount code but applied it incorrectly, which would have hurt their pocket, although I have no sympathy for them as they were cancelling orders falsely as per "Issue with buyers address" to avoid it affecting their Service Metrics, they didn't avoid the consequences though as they received a fair amount of negative feedback last time I checked, which will remain for 12 months but I doubt other buyers will give a shit anyways…

          • @Empharand: yeah so we are both agreeing about as you said above.

The sellers themselves aren't taking a loss (if anything this was a fantastic day for some sellers)

so yeah I think sellers will keep and ship most orders. just my opinion I’m not a eBay seller.

anyway I don’t have eBay plus so this 30% eBay plus post didn’t even register as a deal.

Bunch of dills at ebay..that was no mistake..didn't get the desired sales results for BF so faked a coupon mistake…

    • feels like it too. most of eligible items that were supposed to apply on this code are absolute junk. deals that have been sitting there for days unsold. iPads and laptops advertised at “30% off” with a discount capped at $100.. hopefully we’ll see better deals next week

    • But Black Friday is next week, the day after thanksgiving

  • +3

eBay is a joke now…so many other options out there now. Even Temu and Aliexpress is better…

    • Temu and Ali lost me when they brought in minimum spend. The whole point of Ali was I could get a 50c cable that cost $10 on eBay or Amazon, I just had to wait a month for it.

    • Depends on what you buy. Ebay still has real stores and real sellers. Coupled with various discount codes you can save if you’re after something specific.
For generic crap imported from china then you may aswell go anywhere online.

  • Damn, first time I saw this post I was in need of caffeine and assumed it only applied to one store…

Could've grabbed the Moza R5 racing wheel bundle for $544 from Gamesmen (down from $777) OTL

    • +1

Don't feel bad, there was a cap of $100 off.
