How do you subscribe to their marketing email?

NAB app show no offers yet for me. It said 1 of the reason could be previously unsubscribed from marketing email. I’ve checked in the app and internet banking but its no where to be found

    • +1

      same issue

Found this, but looks like business related:
      https://communications.nab.com.au/SubscribeMonthlyEmails

Here it says "Message a Banker if you still aren’t currently receiving offers." under 'How to access NAB Goodies in the app'
      https://www.nab.com.au/personal/goodies

    • +2

Had the same issue. Had to call them and ask them to activate marketing emails for me. Goodies finally worked after a week or two from the time they did that

      • Got in touch, first person said I'm not enrolled, second person said that I am enrolled. Have never received an offer so have been told issue has been escalated to determine why (as I'm a regular user of a participating card).

        • Really hopeless. Third person now says I am not enrolled and have to reconsent to marketing emails. Seriously how difficult it this ffs.

    • Call them and keep pestering them because it took me a while for it to show up

  • Thanks! I didn’t see that in the email. All I saw was NAB Now Pay Later offer. I get nab goodies offers by email, but my app offer Have never been active. anyone else unable to access in the app?

    • I have the email but it's not active in my NAB app either, I assume since the T&C's say it's supposed to start on the 28th of Nov, but perhaps the code for activated early.

  • I have never had an offer.. how to be eligible? I don't use my NAB debit card apartment from making withdrawals

    • +1

I think you need to spend regularly on the NAB debit/credit card to be eligible and also sign into their marketing email. You can get them to check/sign in for you. I rarely use the NAB debit card and never had an offer. With the NAB credit card I had, the offers were there when the card was used regularly. As soon as spending stopped, the offers disappeared. The offers seem to be independent of where the card is used. (On a different note, I found NAB tends to reject all purchases of gift cards online.)

    • Call NAB and ask them to enable marketing emails for your account to get NAB goodies offers

  • +1

I got woolies offer instead. Spend $100 to get $10 cb

  • Have the NAB pay later offer email, not sure why they keep shoving it in my face. The offer was meant to expire ages ago and they've brought it back again.

Nothing related to Amazon in my goodies either, just some useless offers that i don't see how they could be targeted towards my spending

    • Are you sure that today’s email about pay later doesn’t have Amazon at the bottom? Mine does . I missed it , If not for this post

      • It's there, I didn't bother opening it earlier.. went straight into the bin

  • Anyone manage to buy gift cards with this type of promo?

    • Digital purchases including gift cards are not eligible for cashback according to the terms in the post description. There is a list of exclusions.

      • That's very common for deals which work on gift card purchases

This one has a promo code so maybe it'll be immediately clear if it's not going to work

  • This landed in email today. Too bad, I have Amazon credit to use for purchase before I use this.

    • +1

You can deselect the use of credit as payment option in desktop mode

  • Popped up on some items now, unfortunately I cannot get it to apply.

    I didn't get a promo email.

Edit: Scratch that, it's working now, I got mixed up and had to add a NAB card. Looks like partial payment with GC is fine too, I didn't have enough balance to check if I could pay with GC only.

    • So, miniscule amount vis Nab cc and remaining from gc works?

      • Not sure. The math was right but I didn't actually buy.

        See below for more comments.

If you're doing this just pay attention to your balances, make sure the $10 credit is actually applying.

Didn’t get the email but I see the offer to activate in the Goodies section of the NAB app

  • So NAB savings account (from 28 degrees) with Visa function work??
Nothing under goodies here I think it's targeted on NAB app….

Otherwise it's an Amazon offer not NAB

    • I just logged into my NAB (former 28 degrees) and it was in the goodies section i had never even clicked through before now. It says limit 100,000 so pretty high limit to be targeted.

      • I don't have it listed under goodies but when I click on explaining what goodies is above line shows but its not something i need to activate

  • +1

When I browse items in the Amazon app is see this: "NAB card. Enter code NAB10 at checkout. Discount by Amazon. Terms" and a redeem button. I click the redeem button and it says redeemed. I guess I can use the NAB10 when I'm ready and have met the $80 condition between the dates when offer is valid.

  • +1

Seems to work even when paying 100% with gift card balance.

    • that's good to know.

    • +4

Did you check the final payment screen? When I selected the gift card option, the entire amount, including the $10 discount, was charged to the gift card on the confirmation page though the previous one was showing $10 promotional credit and rest as giftcard balance.

      • Can confirm, even if you select gift card it'll automatically use the NAB CC in your wallet for the payment as per receipt

    • Didn't work for me, it will allow you to select the GC balance after selecting the NAB card, but when you progress it will all revert to the GC balance and the promo credit is removed.

  • Worked for me

  • I don't have the email or offer but added an item over $80 and the code NAB10 and it took $10 off.

  • Worked with my card even though it wasn't in the app

  • I just ordered at amazon. You only need a nab card and that's it. Just order over $80 dollar and you can either before putting it in the cart press redeem $10 or put the code in later.

    • Did you order single item over $80? Doesn't work with multiple items (non S&S).

      • Sorry I didn't see the message. Now its to late but to answer your question, yes I ordered multiple items to get to over $80.

  • I didn't have a NAB account, NAB website said it takes 5 minutes to open one, went through all that crap to open an account and get a Visa debit card but at the end it said you can activate and use your card once you receive it in the mail and there doesn't seem to be an online electronic card available, even though you can add it to your Apple Wallet.

Tried the code with Westpac card, it didn't work.

Now I have a useless NAB account..

  • Have NAB card with this deal and banner on Amazon but keeping getting promo code cannot appy.

  • I used it but wouldn't mix payment types
No biggie brought it back under $80 after NAB discount and Amazon discount.

  • Has this been exhausted? Can't seem to apply the promo code. 'The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.'

    • Nvm, got it sorted. If you have multiple eligible items in your cart, you need to ensure they are shipped together.

awesome, bought a playstation network gift card for 70 bucks

    • Wait, does it work on gift card?

      • apparently, i was browsing psn gift cards and the offer was presented there. stacking this with psn subscription

        • +1

Surprised that it worked, thanks PreSsieGuY!

Added nab card, selected nab card before typing in NAB10.
It throws a red error message but applies the $10 promotional credit anyway. Took advantage of it!

  • Easy save, thanks

  • +1

Has anyone gotten it to work today? Tried many different carts and nothing seems to work…

    • Did you manage to get it to work?

No dice for me on both app and website.

      • Nah never gotten it to work - I did message Amazon live chat and they told me to go ahead with the order and claim that they will try to refund the $10 after I have received the shipment, will see how that will turn out

        • Worked eventually for me. It was saying the code wasn't applying but the cart showed the $10.00.

          Gl

  • I have a NAB card saved in my Amazon account and the offer pops up on the Amazon app. No email for me (but I think I unsubscribed from it)

    • Same here. Tried the code and it didn't work.

  • Mixed responses above .. what’s the final verdict please ?

Can we use the $10 discount code and pay the balance with a gift card or are we forced to use the NAB card?

    • It works for me in the app, but not on the website.

    • I just made a purchase for multiple items, paid ~$3 with the NAB card.

  • Does this work with shopback?

  • Couldn't get it to work - so chat support added $10 promo credit to my account

  • I missed this, didn't see the end date :(
