Dont see that happening again. 😒

    • Just ask a few interstate friends you trust, this deal cost you next to nothing. We have bought a few books already.

    • I got it last time and never used it for anything. I thought it was a bit of a waste of time, so I won't bother with this. Would have to think about it for the $1 deal, if they ever run that again

  • This offer has been out for a while now.

    • They changed it to a crappy $20 DJ's card for a bit there

Haven't used this since covid. By the look of it, mostly 25% off deals nowadays.

It's too bad the entertainment book deals are not as great as it was.

    • I had more luck with EatClub lately, but it completely depends on what type of food you like.

      • Eat club is great.

  • $1 deal when?

Be sure to check out the free NRMA membership before you pay for this. Very few additional inclusions in my experience

I tried using the donut kings vouchers and were told by the shop that they changed owners and didn't accept vouchers anymore.
Too much hassles using these vouchers these days.

  • anything worthwhile in the book?

I've saved $251 using it over ~3mths. It's a 30-70 split between 5-10% off giftcards, which could be done on any other coupon service, and 70% being 'good' discounts. I consider a good discount anything giving a 25%+ off. These are almost always restaurants and generally ~$30-$40 off per family meal. The best deals are anything that's 50% off - i.e. buy one get one free. They're generally things like icecream/coffee etc., but occasionally you'll find like a $20 pub steak on that deal, and it's kinda hard not to go get two :)

  • 2:1 KFC in there again?

  • Still waiting on my $30 GC from the last offer.

I suggest going with EatClub instead. It's basically the Entertainment app but more restaurants and it's free. Some of the deals on Entertainment are also on EatClub.

I'm not associated with them but we use the EatClub app nearly every week for a 2 for 1 coffee or 25% off a cafe:

    https://eatclub.com.au/

The Android app also lets you install a custom NFC payment card so if you pay with the app and tap your phone you don't even need to tell the cafe or restaurant you're using a discount.

I barely use the Entertainment app because my family isn't into fine dining which are the majority of deals near my area. I broke even this year (expires in December) so didn't lose any money, but won't be signing up again.

Thanks! I've actually never heard of eatclub. I did a few quick searches on the website and there doesn't seem to be many deals in my area as I live away from the city.

I've not used these other websites/app yet but you can also try firsttable and eatdrinkcheap.

      I love EatClub!

On the iPhone, the app gives you a virtual card you can add to Apple Pay, and you just pay with that without having to tell the restaurant you’re using an EatClub deal.
