Ordered 8 seconds ago. Still haven't got mine. 😕

  • About 5.5 hours here, no emails received at all. Card charged.

  • Ordered 3x $500 cards at 4:25pm with ANZ, received 5:15 pm in junk mail

  • That website is a nightmare, dont know why its so hard to process the payment.

    -$180 on AmEx

    Thank you for your order
    Your order number is:

Thank you for your purchase. Your order details are included on this tax invoice for your reference.

  • I tried ANZ and CBA. Both failed. My ANZ card was locked out, and had to call them to unlock my card. I now managed to use ANZ card for $1,000 gift card. Now waiting for the email.

    • 2 Gift cards has just come through via email.

  • The transaction didn't go through on my main browser with uBlock, so I had to switch to my cashback browser to complete the payment

  • For those who have Transaction failed issue, Close your content blocker and try again, works for me!

    • +1

I don't think thats the issue, unless its the initial issue and the site blocks the card so you can't try again. I had adblockers off and stll had the problem, even with incognito mode.

      • My issue is content blocker block the verification process, after I disable it I can receive sms for verfication

  • Tried 3 different cards, didnt accept Qantas mastercard at all, accepted ubank visa then didnt work the second time, then worked again with up mastercard debit. So it seems if it fails once it blocks the card.

  • Thanks, OP. CBA CC worked
CG received it within half an hour

  • I bought the giftcard after 5pm will it be getting it today?

    • +1

Same bought at 6.05 Melb time. Not received yet but hopefully within the hour.
Edit: received at 6:20 with invoice following a few mins later.

      • +1

I got the voucher in about 30 mins

Ordered 5 cards at 2:57pm today. Received all cards at 4:34pm and Tax Invoice at 4:37pm.
Also, it appears that we can still purchase discounted cards even though the deal says expired. I can see the 10% discount applied to the total order in my cart (at 5:58pm). So good luck to those who are late to the party.

    • +1

Yep worked for me at 6:05. Was just trying my luck even though it said only until 5pm.
      Thanks OP!

I think I won't bother based on the comments, not such a bad thing, stops me spending money on items I don't need.

    • +6

stops me spending money on items I don't need

You are using money to "buy money", with a 10% discount,
      eg.
pay $900 to have the ability to buy $1000 of item(s).

That gift card sits inside your Amazon account, with no expiry date.

You can also gift that gift card coupon to anyone you like.

However, are you right, because once you have the gift card added to your account,
you will feel the pressure to want to spend that money…and spend it on items you may not need at all !

      • I treat them as frequent flyer points that don't expire. Just because I have a lot of points, I'm not tempted/pressured to fly around. If that makes sense

  • Did Amazon removed the ability to use gift cards on existing orders?
I can't find the option anymore when viewing my orders.

    • is it shipped already?

      • +2

They remove the option well before the item actually ships.

Need to apply the gift cards ASAP after ordering @KawaiiToaster

        • @MiscOzB
Ok, Thank you. I thought it was related to my browser.
Looks like I may need to cancel and reorder to use the gift card.

      • Not yet.

    • Seems that way. How dumb

  • Mine worked… thanks

  • +1

Can confirm this worked for me. Used CommBank. Waited about 2 hours. Redeemed without issue

  • +3

    meant to expire at 5pm?

    • +4

In writing, it was supposed to,
      but in reality, it's still going…and it's currently 6:25pm.

  • +2

Bought 200$ more. Total bought 1000$ worth of gcs. I am done, I shouldn't do more

    • I am sure your gut is telling you to get one more, so go ahead and purchase the very last one.

      • One last fix bro. Just one last time bro

  • Just ordered, with Amex so can charge back if it doesn't work

  • Thanks O.P Can confirm this worked for me too. Turned off adblocker about 5.45pm used BOQ Visa received and redeemed 6.18pm

  • +1

    Insane deal 🥳
Ordered some - no issues with Citi credit card, went thru without any trouble!
Hopefully cards arrive soon as deal is meant to end 5pm..

  • +1

Thanks OP! Failed with CommBank, NAB and HSBC but got through with Citi cc

  • Amex card wouldn't let me buy, shame.

    • AMEX worked for me, just tried.

      • Yeah weird, I tried both on phone, desktop and different browsers, different gc amounts, amex also said my card was working fine. Oh well, not meant to be.

  • Maxed out the $2500. Great deal

Arrived within 5 minutes. Seems there is no more backlog to clear

    • You can buy more with a different email and card. Just saying.

      • I'm cool for now. I already had a large GC balance before adding the $2500

  • Just ordered
Confirming all gift cards arrived 5-8 mins later (Citi card)
Has anyone ordered more than the $2500 daily limit?
Also confirming these gift cards don’t expire if they are redeemed to an Amazon acc?

    • searched the thread to see if anyone confirmed ordering more than the $2500 limit but no dice.. guess risk might be they invalidate the gift cards somehow..

      • I doubt they can invalidate, if gift cards are issued.. they can just not issue the gift cards if suspecting the same IP address or credit card/email..

    • They don’t expire even before redemption but of course a good idea to add straight to your account.
You can buy more than $2500 with a different email and credit card.

      • So Amazon cards not redeemed don’t have the standard 3 year validity? Good to know!

        • Correct. Even says ‘does not expire’ on the gift card. But as i said, with scammers and hackers everywhere, i would not leave gift cards worth a lot of money sitting in my email inbox for too long.

  • CBA CC, had to put mine through in $100 transactions.

  • -8

Yep, same think here.Transaction failed, please contact customer service.

    • Use phone, turn off wifi, just use phone cellular data

  • Tried a few times not working with CBA via phone and chrome. Give up..

    • Use phone, turn off wifi, just use phone cellular data

  • ANZ card didn’t work (OTP sent) - but transaction failed
    Citi working without any issues
Haven’t tried AMEX due to reports of some transactions failing

    • +2

ANZ even blocked my card after this, spent 2 hrs unlocking it

      • +1

same shit happened to me!! f'wits

Can you buy grocery and fuel e-gift cards with Amazon gift cards?

If you can't then I just bought too much Amazon gift cards.

    • Can you buy grocery and fuel e-gift cards with Amazon gift cards?

Groceries that are listed on Amazon yes.
      Fuel no

Amazon gift cards are not swappable for other retailers if that is what you are asking (they used to be though)

      • When did Amazon start blocking it? You used to be able to buy gift cards on it.

        • +1

About 2 years ago. I got stuck with a massive Amazon GC balance waiting on Airbnb vouchers to go on sale when they made the change

          • @Lucille Bluth: What did you do with the massive balance? I need ideas to use up the balance before the interest makes it worth the same amount?

            • @brisdaz: 95% of my online purchases come from Amazon so it doesn't take me long to use them up.

Got an Amazon Kindle Scribe for note taking today - $429, TopCashback 20% cashback, and 15% refund from Amazon for having an older Kindle. Then 10% odd with discounted gift cards.

              Garmin Smartwatch maybe.

Amazon Gift card balance doesn't expire so just keep it and spend when needed

              • @Lucille Bluth: Usually you can't get cashback if you use credit unfortunately :(

              • @Lucille Bluth: Yes but opportunity cost. If I just kept it at a bank account after two years it would be worth the same.

                Thanks for the ideas though.
