I have the Q5 Pro and it is excellent at vaccuuming, very rarely leaves anything behind. If your friend has a max $300 and can afford the extra $50, I strongly recommend this model. This is also an ATL from what I can see.
Thanks buddy. I mentioned the q8 max to her yesterday but told her it was a a lot pricier however also an all time low.
But I'm pretty sure she is still looking for a lot cheaper my work colleagues are trying to convince to get the ecovacs n8. I told her I'll try do a bit of research in the lower price bracket as I'm not familiarNo worries, I suspect this is a similar model (dock included instead) from the greatest vaccuum reviews on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiobHi7E3co
Lubluelu is quite loud compared to my Q Revo
For the price, the Lubluelu is greatlubluelu is great but there is still a bit of manual labour involved. First world problems.
You have to fill up the water and put the mop pad on, and then when it's done, you also have to remove the water or it will slowly drip out.
Charge time is quite slow, so you can probably run it once a day for a full house.
Do you know how it compares to this.. this friend of mine is a mother of a young toddler and probably won't do any of this manual labour as her focus will be on her child
Wouldn't it be better to spend spend an extra $50 and get the Q8 Max+?
Also keen to hear opinions, features look near identical
Theorycrafting about how Q5 Pro fits in the Roborock product line up here.
No one can decipher their maze of offerings
Is it essential to get the version with the dock?
How will charging work with the dockless version?
It still comes with a 'dock', but its just a small one for charging and doesn't empty the vacuums dust bin like the big docks do.
Got it that makes sense now.
I have an old version of the roborock years ago and it only has the charging dock so was getting confused
So, is the difference only between a smaller bin and a bigger bin?
No, the non-plus one has no bin at all - its dock just charges and doesn't empty the vacuum.
My understanding is that the scheduled cleaning functions is a bit iffy without the auto-empty dock as it can fill up mid-routine and then have to stop and wait for human intervention. But this is based on my own research, rather than from owning the device itself.
Thank you! This THREE HUNDRED FIFTY robot is a game changer.
Now q5 pro+ is 400 at Costco, and in 2 days q8max+ is 470 at eBay
Is this better than the lubleulu?
I have a friend who is looking to spend max $300 but if this is worth the extra then happy to let her know.
Also for $50 extra ($649) you can get the q8 max+ which has reactive avoidance technology
