    CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Yeah it's really good right now

      • +1

i got one from JB a week or 2 ago for 670

    • Should have added that it's in the vacuum top 20

    • thank you sir! was looking for the comparison sheet!

  • Alternatively, the Q5 pro is at a low of $349. I've been monitoring this for a while.

    • -1

      What's the difference in both?

      • -2

Sheesh, do you not see the comparions spreadsheet linked above?

          • -4

@ChipsChicky: LOL you can't understand a simple table? If you don't even have the knowledge about the stuff listed on that table, you should do some research into robot vacuums first.

And yes I have looked at it and clearly see Q5 Pro is in there as Q5 Pro+. If you bothered to do any research, you would know Q5 Pro+ is Q5 Pro with base station.

      • Q5 pro is much cheaper for just the vacuum. has 5500 pa suction power. Very basic compared to the rest but does its job well, even on carpet. Getting one for the parents.

    • You should be comparing to the Q5 Pro+ which also comes with a dock and slightly under this deal at 599.

To the comparison chart merchants, both models look near identical, and that's before even mentioning RR's already convoluted product lineup.

      • reason I didn't compare like for like is because I dont find value in the dock, and this awareness for others who wanted a cheaper solution and dont care about the dock.

  • As someone that knows nothing about Robot vacuums but wants one, how does this compare to the Dreame L10s that is currently on sale for $949?

      • Wrong again. It's not my table LOL

          • @ChipsChicky: I don't have a table though? You are just being an idiot mate just because I called you out for being lazy.

            • -1

@keejoonc: Go do some work rather fighting around with random people. I didn't ask you initially the difference between both, you jut jumped in and started behaving like an old mum.

I am lazy or busy, but you have nothing better to do.

              • -1

@ChipsChicky: LOL speak for yourself and good job unpublishing your comments as well since you were getting hammered with negs.

                • -1

@keejoonc: I don't care about neg's - I can post a 100 comments. I don't have spare time like you to jump into fight with random people and start abusing them.

                  • -1

@ChipsChicky: You clearly do since you continue to reply to my comments LOL

                    • -1

@keejoonc: Keep writing LOL LOL, I can feel your pain.

                      • -1

@ChipsChicky: I thought you were so busy and didn't have time? LOL

                        • @keejoonc: I have bit of a time to settle a scum.

                          • @ChipsChicky: Go and research robot vacuum if you have time. Or perhaps learn how to read a table?

                            • @keejoonc: Go and learn how to be compassionate rather trying to scold people.

                              • @ChipsChicky: You had the comparison table right there and you couldn't be bothered to even read it properly and expects someone to just spoon feed you.
Why do I need to be compassionate towards people like you?

    • +1

I don't own a Dreame L10 so I have a bit of a biased perspective. The Roborock has been flawless in my apartment. I'd personally buy the Roborock Q5 pro as it has better suction power (very important metric; at $349) of 5500pa compared to Dream L10s 5300pa ($949).

I personally don't care too much about the dustbin dock, not worth $600 in my view.

  • Can this be price matched at JB Hi FI?

    • Probably, but each jb make their own rules. So who knows.
Try, if worse comes to worst it still exists here

      • Yes but I've got JB gift cards to use up hehehe

        • +1

if they are JB cards (and not 3rd party ones like TCN) you may be better off pricematching on the website than instore, my local JB is a pain to deal with but via the website and click n collect bypasses the individual store policies. Doesn't work with 3rd party cards as you need to pay instore.

    • +1

JB Hifi will usually only price match Amazon if the product is sold by Amazon.

  • This one doesn't auto mash the mop?

  • +1

JB HI FI can price match, perfect for those that got vouchers to use up from the Telstra plans

  • Hang on…
the Roborock Qrevo MaxV for $1,268 is #18 on the list, vs this one Roborock Q8 Max Plus for $649 #15?
At half the cost? Wouldn't this be the better buy then?

    Edit: Mop vs no mop.

    • This has a mop function but it's passive

      • You normally pay around $500-$600 for unit with passive mopping.

    • +2

I think "value" plays a part in the rankings, not just performance

    • +1

there are also different ranking lists. e.g. best mopping, best for pet/hair, best vacuum

So depends on what you need.
