Shout out to SquirtyBumhole for mentioning this deal in a comment.
I don't have Amazon Prime and worked for me.

Add Mercusys AC1300 Nano Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter to the cart after adding the router to the cart, and checkout together. Check for the price before payment, it should be $175.20

Reviews look good for a WiFi 7 router with all 3 bands, 4 * 2.5G ports. I was thinking about getting a data cabler but this looks a lot cheaper, like cost of a single data port :D

A post in Whirlpool mentions that CPU could be Qualcomm IPQ9574, if anyone interested in.

Not sure why I'm not getting $175?

Edit: After signing up for a free Prime Trial the $175 appeared. Not sure what's happened there. But got it anyway, thanks OP and SquirtyBumhole.

That's weird, I got the same price without prime somehow

Anyone know if there's a similar WIFI 7 router with a USB port or a way to tether a mobile to this router?
    (Using Mobile internet)

  • Not many user reviews available. Found one from an user overseas. A few issues were mentioned:

    • The heat dissipation holes are at the bottom. It is easy to accumulate heat at the top and cause the machine to crash. Using something to raise the router to improve heat dissipation is a good idea.
    • 6GHz range weaker than expected (can't get Intel AX210 (WiFi 6E card) to connect to 6GHz band).
    • Unstable MLO (turning it on makes the router unstable). Not able to get client supporting MLO to utilise more than 1 band.
    • Doesn't handle load well, speed fluctuates a lot with a bit of load.

That user recommends sticking with TP-Link. Really tempted to get this, but after reading some reviews on the Web, not so sure.

      Intel AX210

This could be the reason. I have Intel AX211 onboard (Win10 Pro) but it can't see 6GHz bands even from my phone's hotspot. But my QCNCM865 based GC-WIFI7 PCIe card (Linux) can connect to 6 GHz only hotspot.

Thanks for the info. That user didn't mention how he tested MLO. Maybe he used BE200? I do have multiple AX210s and my AMD systems don't support BE200.

Since this is through Amazon AU, if it doesn't work out, return should be straightforward.

Really hoping from some experience from OZBers.

        • if it doesn't work out, return should be straightforward.

yeah I thought the same and it looks great for the price, at least on paper. TPLink BE9300 is $367.

I have AX211 on Z690 + 13900K, still useless. I use 2.5 GbE anyway and I don't have free PCIe slots either. QCNCM865 only supports Win11 which is a bummer. I got that to make a 6GHz AP but back then couldn't get it working at 6 GHz AP mode with Linux. I saw that newer 6.11+ kernels have this as an inbuilt though,

  • Not sure why I'm not getting $175? even after signing up for a free Prime Trial
