      This is better less chance of causing swirls if you have a car with soft clearcoats like most Japanese cars, e.g. Toyota and Lexus

      I can't comment on the microfiber mitts as i haven't spent much time using them. I was recommended this mitt by a detailer over 10 years ago and have just stuck with it. With a 2 bucket wash and using this mitt it reduced swirl marks for me.

    I got some Costco ones and they’re too heavy once it’s absorbed water.
