Main takeaway I get is that the 3S has silent buttons, the 3 has clickier buttons. And the 3S thumb buttons are a bit harder to click.

Officeworks don’t sell the MX Master 3 for Business!!
I used to have the logitech master 2, which I have replaced with logitech master 3 now.
master 2 had a button just under the scroll wheel that would change the scroll pattern from free scrolling to a clicker scrolling, it worked well. On master 3, when that button is pressed, it introduced a third scrolling mode - lag mode. The mouse pointer freezes for 5 seconds and then become usable. I looked online and someone on reddit said to open the thing up and fix a loose connection, i didn't do it as it was fresh off the shelf. Instead someone said to download the logi options software and turn off the smartshift setting. I did turn it off and now there is no lag but that button has become useless for me now.
x-mouse button control may offer a way to reconfigure that button, unless its something very specific to the mouse hardware
What does "for business" mean? Its my mouse, none of your business what i use it for
It means the designers kept in mind functionality and aesthetic appropriate for professionals as opposed to stereotypical gamer ones. Logitech never said you can't use it for whatever you want.

The MX Master 3S is showing as $107/$127 for white/black. Only the Master 3 is $96.
