It's not the cheapest price; normally when this goes on sale it's at $399.

  • Pros: 32" IPS 4K resolution + free 1080p webcam
  • Cons: 60Hz, average monitor stand (no up / down adjustment), 3+ year old model (new version coming out soon)?

This $50 monitor stand from Officeworks will probably solve the monitor stand problem: https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/brateck-ad…

FAQ
Q. Does the monitor work with Macs?
A. From what I've read yes it does! Even the webcam works fine, just no 4x digital zoom that's all. Ref: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Displays-Options-and-Accessorie…

Personally I'm waiting for reviews of the Dell 32 Plus 4K S3225QS. Yes I'm aware it's a VA panel only and not IPS but some of the reviewers of the Lenovo L32P-30 (IPS) does mention the color is a little washed out (90% DCI-P3) vs. Dell's 95% DCI-P3.

  • Wife reads a lot of docs, and looking for a monitor that can split screen into 3 (or4) to make it easier to read. Any suggestions?? Is it Ultrawide territory?

Uhhh windows already let's you do this. You can hover windows on different quadrons or half's and it'll snap in place.

Multiple inputs on monitors are usually limited to 2,and they're annoying in the way it doesn't tell the computer the new resolution so you manually have to change it on your pc.

4k is what you want for 4 simultaneous Windows, it's basically 1080p per quadrant. But it will be tiny so best you get a 43" instead

At home I'm still using a 27" for 4 windows :P, still ok-ish, but 32" would be better.
43" is too big for my desks.

    • At this price point, just buy 2x? and use krisspy's suggestions regarding the window split. If your Mrs use a Mac then the function is already built-in. Personally I prefer to use a software called Rectangle (FREE) or Rectangle Pro (paid / what I use).

      I prefer 2 x 27" 16:9 screens.
If only one screen (like I'm using a MacPro laptop, which only supports one external screen), I prefer this to the ultrawide 34" one. With this one, I could split the screen into either 2 (side-by-side) or 4. With the ultrawide (3440x1440), I could only split the screen into either 2 or 3 side-by-side.
