  • I got super exited that it was the U2723QE and 4K goodness. Surprised they make an ultrasharp that isn’t.

A very good price all the same.

  • Nice

  • Good deal

  • too bad, I still have my S27S21QS and is still in tiptop shape :P

  • Any idea how long the scooter would take for a full recharge?

  • Careful with the u2724 sold by resellers - they may not offer the full 3 year warranty from Dell. Had a negative experience with a prior purchase from a reseller - the monitors warranty was already on the clock (I think only 2 years remaining)

That's just bs from the seller. Your warranty starts from the date you purchased the monitor. If the store had purchased it a year prior then all they need to do is supply Dell or the distributor they got it from the invoice of when they sold it to you. Then you can get your repair/replacement.

      That's how it works.

      • I called Dell actually… A rep there told me that the reseller needs to contact Dell and apply - they didn't elaborate on what happens after tho or if it's definitely successful.

        • +1

Yes that's correct. The reseller would contact Dell and provide both their invoice as proof of purchase and your invoice as proof of purchase. Then Dell would set the warranty to start from the date of your purchase etc etc.

Whoever you bought it from is doing a Fast Eddie and can't be bothered dealing with the warranty properly.

Beware. USB Type-C upstream port (data only) (SuperSpeed USB 10 Gbps, USB 3.2 Gen 2)

This version doesn't do PD nor video over USB C. I almost pulled the trigger but whilst looking up the difference between U2724D (this) vs U2724DE it looks like only the latter has 90W PD and Thunderbolt 4 with Video + Data.

    • U2724D: USB Type-C upstream port (data only) from Dell Specs
    • U2724DE: Thunderbolt 4 upstream port (Video + Data). Alternate mode with DisplayPort 1.4, power delivery up to 90W from Dell Specs

Seems a little misleading for mobileciti to be advertising the U2724D as a USB-C monitor as most people would assume that means Video + Data over USB-C
