  • damn just got one, time for another ;p

  • Damn thats cheap, I last made an order in 2021 but this worked for me still

  • Thanks mate snagged one. I got my first 8BitDo Ultimate 2C this week and have been very impressed with the quality. At this price it's an absolute steal

  • Thanks OP. Paid a bit over $21 for the wireless and got a wired one for my nephew for $10.24

  • How easy is it to be a "new user"?

    • +1

seems you can just sign up with a diff email

      • -1

They will cancel your order in my experience

        • +8

I've made about 10-15 aliexpress accounts on fresh emails to make use of "new user" deals and never had any order cancelled

          • @Originality: I just had an order refused on new account.
So i had a resign up and use a different address

    • +1

Use new email or temp email service like simplelogin, make new account, boom.

      • They ask to verify with phone though and sometimes temp sites get you soft banned

        • I've never had issues personally. But it does make sense that they have stuff in place.

    • +3

links? This is the cheapest I found

        • +17

Prove it. Don't just claim it.

          • +9

@Originality: Dangerous words. I get hated on a lot for saying such things around here. Though you are right.

        • +5

Then do it and prove your claim or stop commenting.

            • +11

@plmko: Just say you lied lmao

            • +4

              @plmko:

I'm not going to support stupidity around here.

No, apparently you’re just going to provide your own brand of it.

            • +11

@plmko: You're on Ozbargain - a website that only exists through people posting deals they find and willingly share with everyone. And then you proudly do the complete opposite and we're schmucks? Go away.

            • +2

@plmko: It's not our job to back YOUR claims.

You even neg'd the deal and still refused to provide proof.

            • +4

@plmko: I caved and did what you asked and it proved you wrong.. there was nothing cheaper.
Saying your not going to support stupidity but everyone else was right and you were wrong.

            • +2

              @plmko: @plmko

I'm not going to support stupidity around here.

Neither does anyone else, which is why your posts are currently sitting at -23, -29, and -22.

              Try to be better 🤟

  • maybe helpful if you encounter something similar.
as a "new user" , I got timeout to add my default address in browser,
so I hv to do so in my mobile app, and continue to purchase in browser.

2nd tips is to use "USD" to pay. using AUD, conversion rate of Aliexpress and Paypal is really suck.

    • +3

Their "tax" charges really suck too. My item ended up being about $17 and I got charged $4+ in tax. They even have an info box next to tax saying that they need to charge 10% gst but 10% of $17 is $1.70, not $4+. AliExpress does have good deals but this sort of crap annoys me.

      • GST does seem to be calculated without any special discounts eg. Vouchers or new user.

But not 10% of the hyperinflated fake RRPs many items have, fortunately.

I bought the 8bitdo wireless adaptor 2 and can use any of my xbox of ps controllers on any platform

    Its $28 currently at amazon
    https://www.amazon.com.au/8Bitdo-SwitchSwitch-OLEDWindows-PS…

    • This does not enable use of any controller on any platform. This enables support for a wide variety of controllers for use on Windows and Switch.

      • +1
        • Works with all 8BitDo Bluetooth controllers and arcade sticks, Xbox One Bluetooth controller,PS5 DualSense DualShock 3, DualShock 4, DualShock 4 Pro, Wii Remote, Wii U Pro, Switch Joy-Con, Switch Pro controllers

        • Allows for use with Nintendo Switch, Windows, and macOS PCs, Android TV box, Raspberry Pi, and Retrofreak

        • Your second bullet point is the key - these adaptors only plug into limited systems, you can't use them with XBox etc.

  • +1

    Thank you OP!!!

  • +2

Thanks OP, bought a wireless one via TCB US for an extra 10% cashback https://www.topcashback.com/aliexpress-by-alibaba/

  • +1

Whats this tax by aliexpress, brought the price for wireless to $21.30. OP you should update the price unless I did something wrong?

    • +1

Did you pay in AUD? AliExpress conversion rates are pretty poor.

      • oppps

      • how can you pay in USD? as soon as I set my address it changes me to AUD

        • Click on Ship to/Language/Currency on the top right of the page, select USD and click Save.

    • Its because of the added $4 GST

  • Bought, Thanks OP

  • Great price but shame that it has no switch/PS5/Xbox support…

    • Does that mean it doesn't work at all for Switch/PS5/Xbox, and does that apply to all of these 8bitdo controllers unless they specifically say for Switch/etc?

      • I searched online and their official website - all pointing to Windows and Android only.

Happy to be proven wrong thou!

      • +1

Pretty much, gamepadla has very detailed info on specs and latency.

      • Does it work with steamdeck?

    • According to this, it can work on the Switch if you have the separate 8Bitdo Bluetooth USB adaptor:

      https://www.reddit.com/r/8bitdo/comments/1ebrbfq/ultimate_2c…

  • +1

Looks like the regular price is about $50

  • Good quality? But for under $20 who cares!

  • Ripper deal thanks. I've been sitting through the pain of using a DS4 over bluetooth for too long now.

  • +1

Just got this through the link, after creating a new account it kept running into a snag when adding my card for payment. Tried several cards and still didn't go through, I think it might have been some new account protection on the Aliexpress end. Eventually got through when I paid via paypal.

  • After checkout the item changes from wireless to wired. Is anybody having the same issue? I cancelled but the new customer discount is no longer available.

  • Status shows delivered but have not received goods. Last time I'll be ordering anything from Aliexpress.
Aramex sucks too, avoid if possible.

    • I got mine the other day, always get lucky with my aliexpress "couriers"

      • Guess I've just had really bad experiences with Aramex. I've only had a dozen or so packages delivered by Fastway/Aramex over the years but have had about 1/3 go missing. Feels to me as if they just say "delivered" regardless.

        • If you live in an apartment, they sometimes send it to other units. just because they couldnt find yours. other that they might just bring it to the post office. u can try asking the post office.

          • @fatbunn: Not sure how that would work with the post office. I've just written this one off and won't be buying anything from Aliexpress going forward.

  • Mine still hasn't arrived.

I finally contacted aliexpress yesterday to ask what was happening.

They just issued a refund, which I didn't ask for, as I just wanted to know if it will arrive before xmas.

But the refund was quick (it's already in my account). Hopefully the product arrives anyway (and before xmas), I will gladly pay again if it arrives and is good.
