Seems to be a pretty good price, according to camelcamelcamel.
Edit: Extra 5% off coupon on the G29, bringing down the price to $267.90 - credit to @shxhshzhz

where to get this 5% off coupon please?
Can't see that coupon
this run on computers too right? you know for the superior PC race :D
Yes, they both work on PC too. G29 is for PlayStation and PC; G920 is for Xbox and PC.
Code for the coupon please?
Expired
Thanks
just bought one from JB HIFI after trying to get them to price match. They cant go down to 339 but did 355 for me. Pulled the trigger with JB gift card.
Just saw amazon bumped up the price to $439, cant be happier
G923 is pretty well designed. Much better than the g920 for Xbox.
I’d your just trying out sim racing on PC - get a used Driving Force GT. $50-$80 on gumtree or marketplace. Ido occasional Assetto Corsa on it and it’s fantastic
Agree.. Mine was used twice and collecting dust..
Wana sell?
Sure. PM me
@PleasureMe: You can get penalty box for selling or soliciting outside of classified forums, even for joking about it.
Nice tip
So whats the ultimate poor man's combo for a race sim set up? But still half decent…
Ie. Wheel (Driving Force), machine? Frame?
For example, I setup a granny flat home Cinema/ Band hero setup
Sony Muteki 7.2 system (hard rubbish).
Projector ($150 eBay)
Wii with drums, guitars, mics $50 Gumtree Roms online free.
Thinking of adding a driving setup.
Number one factor is the wheel needs to have force feedback.
Cheapest but half decent setup would be an older Logitech (DFGT, G25 etc.) for less than $100 and hook it up to a CFW PS3 ($50 with free games) or a PC, with one of these frames.
For modern consoles then you either get a Logitech G29 (PS4/PS5/PC), or a Thrustmaster T300 (PS3/PS4/PS5/PC).
2nd hand offers far better value, especially the T300, looking at around $250 for the base+wheel. Each have shifter add ons.
Cheers mate.
Yeah definitely forced feedback. I haven't touched a wheel since PS2 Gran Turismo days.
Logitech was not bad back then.
I'd say the same for half decent pedal feel.
@He-Mania is it fair to say the Driving Force you mentioned would have crap pedals? Can you tweak them with springs? T300 better pedals?
Best game 'close' to reality?
@tunzafun001: See my comment below. DFGT or whatever cheap Logitech you can find, DriveHub adapter for modern consoles.
For the brake pedal cut a stress ball in half and put it in the pedal slot (seriously, google it) and you have a very enjoyable setup.
Logitech wheels are very well tuned for Gran Turismo games on PlayStation, PS3, PS4, PS5 are all good with it and the feel is great.
Speaking of poor - Assetto Corsa was under $20 on steam when I got. $50 wheel +$20 game = cheap fun. Of course I had the PC already :D
My first wheel was a Driving Force GT - got the last one in stock for $140, racked up 180 hours in Assetto Corsa with it. Only upgraded because I wanted three pedals and a shifter.
@He-Mania: I literally put a kitchen sponge behind the brakes to improve the feel, was better than nothing lol
I wholeheartedly agree with this, the technology has barely changed between DFGT > G25 > G27 > G29. The pedals got a bit better, yes.
I currently use a DFGT on Gran Turismo 7 (and less so Forza Motorsport) with a DriveHub adapter and it’s awesome.
Sure, I’d love to try a direct drive setup ($$$) sometime, but for what I paid the DFGT is totally engaging and feels great!
What's the difference between 920 and 29?
920 Xbox PC
29 PlayStation PC
For some reason the 920 has less features than the 29 - missing RPM bar, missing rotating wheel button and missing up down button.
You have to pay a hefty chunk more for the 923 which does have these features and "TRUEFORCE", which is some sort of expanded frequency vibration motor for extra road detail but has few games supported.

Must.resist.
This would be my 5th wheel over 20 years of gaming. Always end up gathering dust and taking up a lot of space.
I resisted so thank god it's now out of stock!
Back in stock for 42% off
Lol definitely no deal. Maybe if the discount was bigger.
G25 to g29 are essentially the same, even g923. G25/G27 comparability I found was troublesome these days though. Not much has changed in Logitech belt driven range in 20 years. If you want something different I'd recommend the direct drive stuff but it's significantly more expensive.
Anyone selling GTLite cockpit?
Great starting wheel to dip your toe into sim racing. Recently upgraded to the G Pro setup, which is amazing on another level.
For those that purchase, look into removing the stopper from the brake mechanism. I hope who ever designed that was fired.
good beginner wheel should be this price as standard as its very dated tech. but you can't really improve without spending $1-2k to get anything proper. bare in mind always loads on marketplace ~$200, as so many people buy them, use them for 5mins, or do eventually go the extra upgrade mile.
Decent price, Doubles as someones significant others Christmas gift when you sell it on marketplace in 8 months time after using it 2-3 times and giving up on it
I have a JBHifi link to a basket for a G920 price matched with Amazon ($282) that i won't be using - expires 11:59pm tonight.
Comment and PM me if you want it - first come first serve.
PM!
PM sent.

Had this wheel and racked up hundered and hundereds of hours across multiple racing sims. I've developed a good skill with simracing (proud of myself), currently in the process of upgrading to better equipment. I highly recommend this set for someone who either is a casual player OR someone who wants to do sim racing on a budget… eventually, you'll want to upgrade to a direct drive wheel and load cell brakes like I am at the moment, massive performance changer.
Back in stock at $319.
Extra 5% off coupon on the G29. $267.90
