had one of these, just crap, replaced it with reolink one and used home assistant to bridge for homekit 10x better and more reliable

so they have a hub, that is inside your house, that hub connects to wifi, then the doorbell connects to the hub. the hub is slow and wifi 4 2.4ghz which is slow and when you play your video back there is lag and delay. Many firmware updates still same issue. These are being phased out.
Running one of these for 6 months now and no issues at all.
Which reolink? I'm thinking of selling my Poe version and getting wifi with battery.
wifi version it has 5GHZ and 2GHZ, comes with power supply
I have one of these which seemed fine and responsive for a few months - now it’s a disaster - get notifications 2 mins after someone was detected random delayed chime rings - not sure what changed but firmware updates don’t fix it.
Does the reolink via HA show up as a dorrbell in HomeKit ? Is it responsive?
Cheersyes, absolutely, just use scrypted for the homekit bridge and it's a dream. Only issue is you have to talk using the reolink app not homekit but it might be my setup
