  • Logitech offers similar functionality with their software, which obviously only works with Logi hardware.

Mouse without borders is a superb free alternative

Love synergy, used it a lot over 10+ years ago and was a great efficiency driver when working on 2 separate computers simultaneously.

If you are planning on using this only with windows machines, you can also check out mouse without borders (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/mouse-wi…), as part of the Microsoft Powertoys pack, which is free and should behave the same way

I am quite happy with Synergy. With this price, it is cheaper than upgrading from a previous plan.

My only complain is that Synergy 3 dropped Pi (arm64) support

  • this or logitech flow?

  • Just bought it and installed! Works well!

  • Thanks using sharemouse free nag version.

I remember the days when Synergy was free… my knees hurt.
Edit: it still is free, but you have to mess around with compiling it:

    • same boat here - I didn't realise it had gone paid, first thought was "hey did someone pinch the name and make something similar but non-free?"

I have a synergy 3 license and am quite happy with it. But since this is a bargain site, consider input-leap which is an opensource fork of barrier, which is a fork of the original synergy 1.9.

I had a synergy 1 license and was able to upgrade to synergy 3 for $3.80 just now using this same code (BLACKFRIDAY80)

    • Good tip. I had to manually attach '&coupon=blackfriday80' to the upgrade URL though. Didn't really see anywhere to put the coupon code in.
