My Japanese friend's 18 year old daughter is coming to Sydney for her first overseas trip and I am wondering what is the best Sim card for one week with plenty of data for YouTube, social media and Google Maps?
Best Sim Card for One Week with Plenty of Data?
Comments
Thanks!
But the reviews for Lyca are really bad and I need the Sim now they can't deliver until December.
Amazon can deliver by tomorrow
Also, someone just posted this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/875930
Get whatever prepaid sim is cheap at coles/woolies if you want the easy/fast option. You wont find a better deal unless you are willing to wait for shipping/wait for a good cashback deal.
Lebara usually has something cheap with plenty of data on at one or the other. Vodaphone sims have an infinite data setup but the speedcap after you use up the quota is very restrictive. Not useful for watching videos over 480p once you go over the cap.
Kogan is doing 40GB $10, 100GB $15
Being an ozbargain post .. i have to suggest checking eligibility for free eSim offers , for instance:
Mastercard (28 degrees .. but also worth checking what other mastercards you have might be eligible) - https://mastercard.flexiroam.com/
These are free 1gb, so not sure if thats enough for 1 week.
