    Didn't work for me. You will soon receive the code GLOBAL1 via email. BUT NEVER USE IT. It looks the same deal but it is free 1gb with "Any purchase". I don't know it's there tactic or just coincidence… Don't be fooled.

    It might not be clear from this post but based on the older linked post you are meant to do it during sign up and put the code at the bottom voucher section on the same page you put in your name, dob, email etc

    I’ve used Eskimo last month in Europe and Singapore to get by, they are fine. However their rates if you decide to top up, are much more expensive then other comparable providers like Roamless, bne sim, etc.

    Worked for me the best is to download the app then select enter promo code at top left then enter the code then proceed and after filling your details at the bottom enter promo code again. And that’s all.

    I think there is a limitation that each device can be only connected to one device. I have tried getting my device unlocked but seems like it is not possible and still locked with my original account.

    thanks, that worked! I can see 1GB of data in my acct now, does that mean all I have to do is connect to that esim when I'm overseas in any country? I did not link my mobile # to my acct as I do not wish to, will it still work for me?

    The code can be entered later also if you miss it adding during sign up. Just go to my account and find redeem code option.

      I can see that the data is now avail in my acct. If you redeem, does it mean that you are using it now ? Or we have to wait until until we overseas ?

    How do we get the phone numbers associated with the esim for text? I want a backup number fo facebook marketplace etc.

      It's data only, so presumably there's no phone number attached

      Data eSIMs don’t come with numbers. eSIMs only have numbers if you have registered one from an actual telco

            @DumplingBoi: Glad to hear it.

            If anyone else finds themselves in the same situation, go to Account > How to install eSIM (under the Support heading).
            There are 3 tabs across the top with options including QR code. My phone could scan QR from an image but YMMV.

    I was able to get a few free 1GB data packs. The good thing is each pack sits in myh account and the 2 year time limit doesn't start till the data pack starts to get used.

    Speeds in USA and Mexico were decent. Worked well in Japan.

    Singapore being missing form the Global / Asia packs is a bit weird.

    After signing up , I saw the 1GB free showing up in my account.
    Then I received an email with the QR code of eSim.
    So installed the eSim in my pixel phone.

    I am currently in Australia.
    Tried disabling my Australian SIM and WiFi from Network settings and keeping the Eskimo sim card enabled for Data.
    But internet is not working.

    I thought as its an Global eSim it should work from Australia as well?

    Or is it only meant to work from overseas.

      Did you enable Roaming on that SIM profile?

    Make sure to turn on "Low Data Mode" for the specific eSIM on an iPhone (or equivalent feature on Android) so that your phone updates, cloud syncs etc. do not eat up your data.

    My back up mobile number needed to have credit topped up today which reminded me that could redeem this again using that number.

    Considering that mobile is meant to be a back up when I'm traveling, having a spare 1Gb of global travel data on it probably is a good idea. Haven't set the esim up yet but the 1Gb data is loaded onto this second eskimo account and ready to go.

    i've used this app before on my phone and uninstalled it after i ran out of data. now i've installed it again but when I open it it's just a black screen. it's iphone/ios so I don't get what the issue would be?

    Was able to redeem the offer, folks just remember to put the code in the last field in the form that you get post verifying your number. It will work.
