Cashback terms and exclusions

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible for new Superloop customers only, and must remain a Superloop customer for at least 90 days after placing your order to be eligible for cashback. A new Superloop customer is defined as someone that is no longer a Superloop customer and has no active service with them.
  • Cashback is ineligible on any products not listed in the cashback table of rates.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards and/or use of gift cards for payment.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • Always return to TopCashback and click through via the pink cashback button to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

Good to know

  • Ensure you disable plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole & VPNs prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback as they will prevent your order from tracking.
  • If you cancel / return / exchange / modify your completed order, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

What to do and when

  • Missing cashback claims must be lodged within 100 days of purchase.

Hey guys. Kindly note these increased cashback rates have now been extended to Dec 31 (unless pulled earlier by Superloop). Thank you, and have a wonderful festive season ☺️

    Any opticomm deals around?

    • +3

      I feel your pain

    • -4

      I'd recommend moving.

    • Mine is also opticomm and is it not eligible for cashback? My address shows as available for opticomm when I search from cashback link.

    • Opticomm deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/878014
      Read the comments too

    • Aussie Broadband: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/878891 (similar prices with Leaptel - cheaper for slower plans)

Superloop's regular discount is only $10/month more than the BF deal (basically the Opticomm tax)

Exetel also has some cheap Opticomm plans ($69/m 100/20, $84/m 250/25), haven't used them before though.

    • Does anyone know if Opticomm eligible for this $105 cashback?

  • +1

5 days still not tracked, I signed up with the flash deal

  • +1

Hi Op, nothing for fixed wireless connections?

  • One of the worst customer service! But internet speed is OK

    • Agreed, I would never go back to SL at any price.

      • +1

Wow. I find them great. Consistently 30MBps downloads on usenet (250mbps connection) and if I have a lot to do can do a free upgrade to 1000mbps and then get 105MBps downloads).

Customer service is so-so. Not ABB but a lot cheaper and TBH haven't had any downtime since I moved to them, just a few issues on the move and sorting a static IP.

        • -1

Hopefully you dont find out how bad they are then. Its fairly well known how bad they are, worse than Optus even.

    • +3

Been with superloop for years without any trouble. Seems to be more related to the area you're in tbh and not the telco

      • +5

They gave me a cheaper negotiated price. But it wasn't applied in the bill. They also didn't apply my referral although it is listed in my account.
Have talked with them two times over the phone after staying 30 min waiting and they admitted the mistake. However, not yet received the discounted price!
They are really annoying when it comes to customer support.

        Will churn tomorrow

    • +1

It's funny how we all have different experiences. I was with them for 3 years before churn and the customer service was exceptional.

    • Ive had to lodge a ticket once and wasn't the best experience, but in 3 years its been fine. Good outage communications and service.
Mind you I do churn every 6 months to the next best deal so rarely a problem with most..

  • +5

A new Superloop customer is defined as someone that is no longer a Superloop customer and has no active service with them.

Wow. We used to have to wait 6 months

  • +1

can you select forward date to activate the connection (within next 30 days) and still be eligible for cashback?

    • +1

      Also curious about this.

    • +1

@trixieb @tightarse - are you able to help?

      • +7

Hey. Will email them and ask. Once I get a response I’ll revert here. Cheers.

        • +1

          Following this!

        • +1

also waiting for a response to this

        • Hey @tightarse any updates on this one?

          • +1

@HaroldHoltSLSC: Unfortunately not. I actually sent a follow up email Friday and still waiting. Sincere apologies.

            • +1

              @tightarse: any news TA?

              • +10

                @89tnp: @avitherock @retnup @xenoic @svs500 @HaroldHoltSLSC @89tnp @trixieb

Apologies for the delay on this. Just received official confirmation from Superloop that customers can select a forward activation date and still remain eligible for cashback. All the best 🙂

                • @tightarse: Nice work TA. How long is the TCB bonus valid for? Just today? Couldn’t see any expiry dates on TCB.

                • @tightarse: thanks TA
with the lack of known end date, jumping on that promo for a switch over to superloop nxt week

                • @tightarse: thanks - now that this stacks with black friday special definitely a go-er

                • @tightarse: Not sure if you can answer this but if you can, you reckon the cashback rate (30%) for everyday market might possibly go up in the coming days?

                • @tightarse: Then if I selected to switch into Superloop today and set future start day … Supperloop will notice my current NBN provider to port out and cancel the service just like mobile phone service? Thanks

        • Will print in a referral code and the promo code invalidate cashback? Thought my mum could at least get a discount

          • @MeesusEff: I did the referal by mistake for superloop and no tracking been over 24hrs now. @tightarse should i be worried?

  • would SL do credit check on signup? Thanks

  • +3

Last time when I tried to port out from Superloop, they forced me to stay there for 30 more days

  • +2

Superloop also charge you $10 if your stored payment method doesn't work.

    • A failed payment fee of $10 will be applied if payment is not made by the due date.
      https://files.superloop.com/cis/residential/nbn/2024-07/SL_R…

      • How will they charge $10 if payment method won't work? Then we move to another provider due to bad service

        • +1

i ported out the day before my billing period ended. they tried to charge my cc for the extra month then kept chasing me for it until i lodged a complaint with the ombudsman

          • -1

@realaccount627465746: When they disconnect the service? After the extra month ends or before that?

Also, how could you defend your complaint, as you didi't stay for the extra 30 days and thus didn't comply by the contract?

  • +19

Did some quick maths to get the equivalent price/month after cashback, assuming one stays for 6 months:

Plan Price for 6 Months Price/Month After CB
    Everyday 25/10 $59/month $48.17/month
    Extra Value 50/20 $67/month $56.17/month
    Family 100/20 $75/month $63.33/month
    Power Home 100/40 $79/month $66.50/month
    Superfast 250/25 $85/month $70.83/month
    Lightspeed 1000/40 $99/month $81.50/month
  • +2

Thanks OP, I think I will churn to this from Exetel in a couple of months if it's still available. Shout out to Internode for getting me into churning by trying to raise my monthly bill by $30!

  • pretty good deal to churn with haha

  • Do superloop still have the 30
    days notice to disconnect
I found out the hard way

  • +1

must remain a Superloop customer for at least 90 days:

Can I cancel at day 60 and remain their customer for 90 days?

  • Any Deals for Supa Networks ISPs?
    These are the ISPs available

  • The deal doesn’t seem to include a router. I wonder if my current Optus wifi router would work on superloop

    • Should do. What model is it? You could possibly chat to them and ask

  • Broadband compare has $99 cashback on Shopback

    • Please be aware that Compare Broadband is from Econnex who doesn't appear to have a good reputation for paying.

All the best to anyone considering using Econnex via ShopBack. If there are any issues, ShopBack doesn't seem to have someone as helpful or responsive as TA at TopCashback. I haven't used Econnex but am a regular customer at ShopBack.

  • When will this offer expire?
I'm thinking of closing my current account and open with this offer. Will take 30 days to be able to do that!

  • When does the $105.00 cash back get paid. ? After three months or later.

    • FYI I've been waiting almost 4 months for mine, and it still hasn't cleared..

    • Advised by rep cash back take around 18 weeks could be a week or so either way.

  • Superloop used to be great years ago, but after the effort churning out and getting pro rata money back recently - never again.

    • i thought they don't pro rata? Don't they bill 30 days at a time?

  • -1

How do people churn RSPs? "Churning" suggests you got from one to another and eventually work your way back to the previous ones. But don't the providers only offer the promo deals to "new customers". If you have been with them before, will they still give you the new customer rate?

    • In the past it seems that some providers consider you a “new” customer after 6 months, but YMMV.

  • Anyone know for sure if this will work with the Superloop BLACK-FRIDAY coupon where 1000/50 has gone down to 89/month for 12 months? It says so on the topCashback page, but am leary at times of whether all systems are sync'd

    • It stacks. You can screenshot the offer on the TopCashback page. If any issues, please contact the rep tightarse.

  • @tightarse, any word whether TCB will extend this offer until the end of the Black Friday deal (8 December)?

  • Just joined with $89 1000/ 40 deal. Stacked with $105 just pushed me over.

    • does it stack?

edit: nvm i clearly can't read. yayyyy stacking!

  • When should I expect the confirmation email?

  • My super loop cashback hasnt tracked yet, how long does it take ? Am already connected with them.

  • Just tried this today (even in incognito and getting this error):

    This site can’t be reached
Check if there is a typo in t.cfjump.com.
    DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

  • Do you have to use fresh email to join?
My 2 years old acc is still active.

    • +1

      From TA/Superloop in their terms:

A new Superloop customer is defined as someone that is no longer a Superloop customer and has no active service with them.

      • +1

Right, so same email should be fine as long as it does not have active service.

    • It hasn't expired. Where did you see this?
      https://www.topcashback.com.au/superloop/

      • +2

Omfg I'm blind, I was on Shopback 😂😂😂 so sorry!

        • Lmfao

  • What's the best browser to use to play it safe? Am I ok if it opens on brave but I turn brave shields off?
    And referral stack?

    • Drop the referral.

    • +1

@retnup No, to using Brave browser even with Brave shields turned off. The rep tightarse had mentioned but I can't find the link to the comment.

      Here is tightarse's advice

For tracking success, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost. TopCashbackAU must be the very last click/tap prior to purchase.

Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

      @neoleo's suggestion for successful tracking.

Just checked with the rep tightarse. This offer doesn't stack with the referral bonus.

      All the best :)

  • If superloop is the current provider but under my partner's name am I still eligible here? It's asking who the provider is but super isnt an option
Do I have to churn out?

    • Yes

      • Got myself stuck in a churn loop here haha! Super to ABB back to Super - proceed with caution

        • But won't you just be paying an extra month because of the notice period?

  • It seems mine didn't get tracked :( I signed up to superloop through this and after 2 days nothing has popped up on my account. Some people said theirs showed up instantly or a few hours later… mine hasn't shown up for 2 days now.

It seems I got screwed :( don't think I'll ever use this website again. First time using it and it's already bad off the bat.

Sucks I gotta wait 7 days to make a claim then pray for the next 1-3 months that it gets approved…

    • Did you use a referall code?
