Cashback terms and exclusions

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible for new Superloop customers only, and must remain a Superloop customer for at least 90 days after placing your order to be eligible for cashback. A new Superloop customer is defined as someone that is no longer a Superloop customer and has no active service with them.
  • Cashback is ineligible on any products not listed in the cashback table of rates.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards and/or use of gift cards for payment.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • Always return to TopCashback and click through via the pink cashback button to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

Good to know

  • Ensure you disable plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole & VPNs prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback as they will prevent your order from tracking.
  • If you cancel / return / exchange / modify your completed order, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

What to do and when

  • Missing cashback claims must be lodged within 100 days of purchase.

    • Same, didn't use referral, still nothing since yesterday.

  • Any possibility to extend upsized cashback to when Superloop deal ends on 8th Dec?

    • If it's not extended, this could be an option:

      From the rep TA:

Just received official confirmation from Superloop that customers can select a forward activation date and still remain eligible for cashback.

  • Is it better to use TCB app or use browser?

    • Well i used browser and no tracking.

  • Can a connection be requested on a Saturday ?

  • I Was going to move off superloop and gave then notice 28 days ago. I need to pick another service and I'm keen to use the SL black friday deal, They wont pricy match their own deal. If My other half signs up for a service at our address on the day of disconnection will that be a new service?

    • I pulled the trigger and I will post the results back here

Topcashback account is under my name but i am looking to signup with my partner's name. am i still eligible for cashback ?

    • Yes
Topcashback tracks your purchase but not your personal details, I would be shocked if they did.

  • Has anyone's cashback tracked yet? I'm considering signing up but don't want to go through the hassle of chasing up cashback.

    • +1

Yep, I ordered 2 days ago scheduled for activation in the new year.

    • +1

      Mine tracked within 5 minute

  • Also signed up a couple of days ago with an activation date in the new year.

Topcashback click was registered but purchase still not confirmed after 2 days.
Superhub only shows "Order submitted" and stages "Welcome" or "Expected activation" are greyed out… Yesterday, $1 was debited from my bank account.

After ringing Superloop support today, I was told that the order status won't update until the chosen activation date in the new year.
They couldn't give me any information regarding the TCB tracking and if that's also delayed due to the future dated activation.
What a rubbish experience so far.. Hope it gets better from here.

    • Mine didnt track at all. Logged a case got this nonsense message.

This claim was previously 'On Ice' meaning it couldn't be submitted to the retailers until now (7 days after purchase).

      • +1

@gerenuk @poxy001 Sorry to hear. The cashback providers including Cashrewards and ShopBack seem to require a 7 day wait before a missing cashback claim can be submitted. TopCashback is the only one that has the "On Ice" function if you submit earlier than 7 days. The claim will be submitted to the retailer after 7 days. It may take 2-3 months before you hear back from TopCashback. If you have any queries, please contact the rep tightarse.

  • Hi @tightarse, just noticed the BLACK-FRIDAY promo code has dropped off the TCB Superloop page now despite the offer (apparently) still being valid from Superloop until end of day today (Sun 8/Dec). Could you please check if this was supposed to end yesterday on TCB or whether the coupon could be reinstated for another day for tracking purposes?

    • When did it stop appearing? Pretty sure it was still there yesterday (Sat.)

      • +1

        @tinniness @dingdong3000

Apologies, error on my part. Had the incorrect expiry date loaded. Please check again ☺️

        • Just saw the update, thanks heaps @tightarse :)

The detail on the track said take 20 weeks to paid? SERIOUSLY?

    • They are earning some good interest on that $$$

  • I was with Superloop until March 2023. Would I be considered a new customer?

I know the BF deal is now over but out of curiosity did the discount also apply to the 50/20 plan?

    • In the post description and T&Cs:

A new Superloop customer is defined as someone that is no longer a Superloop customer and has no active service with them.

You would be a new customer.

did the discount also apply to the 50/20 plan?

Not sure but it wasn't listed in this BF post.

    • To late to say this now but for $10 more you can get 100/40, why would you want 50/20?

      • +1

I'd rather spend $10 less. Before the price hikes $50-$55 was my target. A good deal when it was sub $50. Anything above $60 was considered dearer. Now $60-70 is more the norm.

        • With the cashback brings it down to 66.75 per month, almost bargain of the century even if you use the old price standard consider very few suppliers for the 100/40 plan now.

Main difference is the 40 up which makes it day and night if you WFH.

Granted not much to gain if you don't use much upload.

  • Hello.

Does this also applied to fixed wireless? It is technically advised as an NBN service on the superloop website.

    Thanks

  • If I use your website and it directs me to superloop when I get to the check out it asks for a referral or promo code, am I able to use my friends referral code and will I still be eligible for cashback? Thank you

    • It's in the post description in bold:

This offer does not stack with the referral bonus. Confirmed with the rep tightarse.

      • Is it possible to withdraw the referral bonus?

        • +1

Will check with the rep @tightarse

        • +1

The rep replied that you would have to contact Superloop to ask them.

      • wait why would this not work for a new customer ? Their referral codes only work for the person who already has the service. Also the person using the code doesnt get anything.

  • Man I really regret switching from Belong to Superloop… Their system is so stupid. Their so called "Superhub" has the ability to stay logged in but what's the point in that? Nothing loads after being away from the website forcing you to sign back out and back in to get your account information.

Not only that but their payment system is garbage. I had an email come in about an upcoming payment and I paid it… several hours later I get another email telling me I now owe negative $89.89… The hell is negative?

Then there's the random drop outs every now and then that lasts for several seconds each time…

I cannot believe I left Belong to deal with this ISP… I regret it. I'm giving them the 30 days notice and I'm switching back over to Belong ASAP. This is not worth it. I may be getting 1000/50 for $90 a month (Thanks to Black Friday) but it's not worth dealing with their cheap website and payment system… I didn't have a single issue with Belong.

Do you use their website 24 hr a day? as long as it is not charging you wrong then what is there to complain?

Not sure what infrastructure you are on but I am on FTTP and pay $73 for 100/40. It has been good except a few dropouts. again, i don't use my line 24 hr a day and I don't examine the connection log like a CSI team……

With $75 CB comes to $66.75 a month, which I think is a really good deal. Many 50/10 charge this price.

Their mobile bundle is a con though, overpriced and still not attractive after you price in the bundle discount.

    • SL has not been all that bad for me. Not much to complain service wise. The BF deal made it even sweeter compared to other competitors.
If you're that unhappy why not wait until at least cashback is approved before jumping?

      • -2

Fortnite or COD addict got killed because of the dropouts🤣🤣

    • I was seeing similar issues with their website, in my case disabling adblocker etc fixed the issue ymmv

I've been with exetel for many years and had excellent experience, so I'm hoping it won't be worse with their parent company. I'm due to switch over next week..

  • +1

order place on 19 Nov, no tracking.
submit a claim on 29 Nov, no update so far

    • Same no tracking yet!

  • Is the superloop chat support working for anyone? I've been trying twice over the last few week, and their ETAs are a joke.

    — Estimated Wait Time: less than 1 minute

No response in over an hour..

I got my chosen activation date this Friday, the superhub application status still only showing

    Order submitted
    5 Dec 2024
Thanks for making an order. We have received your order and will be in touch soon with next steps.

All other subsequent stages are greyed out and cashback still hasn't tracked nor confirmed. I'm beginning to think there was an issue at superloop during sign-up with future dates applications that caused all these issues. Will know more on Friday, but would be keen to know if anybody else is seeing the same issues.

    • Yeah it's all greyed out but I don't think you'll see it progress until SL takes payment on the day of activation. My TCB tracked even for scheduled date on the day of signup.

    • Had a similar situation. It'll suddenly spring to action soon after midnight on day of activation. Cashback should have tracked soon after placing order, so you'll want to chase that. I used Live Chat day of connection with a 1 minute wait. Maybe check add-ons not blocking it.

      • Thanks @Gav and @dingdong3000 sounds like things should be on track then regarding the activation. I've lodged a cashback claim with TCB on 30Dec hopefully with some positive results soon.

        • Just a quick update, the activation on the specified date went smoothly. Only surprise for me was that the existing FFTP service on UNI-D1 port was replaced by superloop. I expected them to use UNI-D2 instead, so I got a backup if there are any issues. I intentionally hadn't cancelled my existing provider (Exetel) for another couple of days. After reading some more posts, this seems to be the standard behaviour if you tick "have existing service" during the application process..

Regarding the cashback, TopCashback just updated the status of the claim:

submitted to retailer … takes around about 12-16 weeks to get a result for claims like yours

          Timeline so far

          • 05-DEC Signed up with Superloop - TopCashback click to merchant registered but purchase did not track
          • 30-DEC TopCashback claim submitted
          • 03-JAN Superloop activation
          • 14-JAN TopCashback submits claim to Superloop
          • @gerenuk: Correct, it's standard behaviour to assuming porting (take over the existing port) unless you ask otherwise. Partly it's because there's a maximum throughput on ALL ports. You can't, for example, have 1G on UNI-D1 and 1G on UNI-D2. Also means continuity of service when the porting happens (not everyone is up at 12.30am to move the cable from one port to another). Good luck with the cashback claim.

            • @Gav: Cheers @Gav, good to know. I guess that approach works fine as long as the provider doesn't require different WAN router settings (VLAN, PPPoE authentication, DHCP, etc) which I wanted to rule out by having an overlap period where I can still adjust router settings if needed (my router has multiple WAN ports).

  • Offer is still available

Its kind of a rerun, happen on telco cashback all the time, like that famous Optus prepaid deal. The actual deal on SL is also a little different

      100/20 $69/Month,
      100/40 $73/Month,
      250/25 $79/Month,
      1000/50 $89/Month

      Discount apply for 12 Months
