how to define “ new Superloop customers ”?

    • +1

Same question here. I have been with them before but not since 3.5 years ago.

      • +10

Let me shoot them an email and hopefully get an official answer. Cheers!

          Any update @tightarse

        • Any update on this ? for historic customers (left over 4 months ago)?

          • +1

@OnThaCheap: Still waiting. Have followed up and will update here when I hear back. Thanks.

                • +5

                  @bowtiehoon: @cyruslol @theguyrules @armyofme @OnThaCheap @Indomie5

Hey guys, as promised. Here's the official response from Superloop. Have also added this to our terms page:

A new Superloop customer is defined as someone that is no longer a Superloop customer and has no active service with them.

                  • @tightarse: Hey TA!

I'm currently with Superloop Business (totalbiz) and put in my cancellation a few days ago with them. Service will stop with 2nd week of November. Did it due to ongoing billing issues.

Would I be able to take advantage of this offer since its with Superloop residential?

As an aside, I did try signing up to Superloop residential a few months ago through Econnex via CR and Superloop Residential rejected the order saying I was trying to obtain services, whatever that means…

                    Would appreciate any clarity.

                    Thanks!

      12 months

      https://files.superloop.com/terms/SL-Residential-nbn-TCs.pdf

"10. Returning customers, who have previously
been with Superloop and already received a
six (6) month discount promotion, will not be
eligible for a new promotion for a period of
      twelve (12) months."

Going off Whirlpool, been that way for a couple years at least

      • For the cashback from TA:

A new Superloop customer is defined as someone that is no longer a Superloop customer and has no active service with them.

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15818085/redir

        • Yeah, I was referring to the Superloop new customer 6-month discount eligibility instead. Good to know both!

  • $200 with Optus NBN Cashback

    • $109 a month tho instead of $95

      • And a very painful sign up process based on my experience! Gave up in the end.

      • I picked $89 Optus plan

  • +11

Cancelling superloop is a PIA ass you have to phone them

  • I was a customer couple of years back. Will I be eligible?

  • -1

Buyer beware. I had a nightmare dealing with these clowns.

    • +1

      Can you provide details?
Did you have issues with TCB or Superloop?

  • Pretty average customer service, if it works fine than it will be okay but otherwise….

  • +1

I signed up Monday night with the $55 Cashback offer and was connected yesterday :(

  • Their mobile prices are just a little higher than Exetel but with the same bundle and save amounts not sure it’s worth the hassle of changing oh well still good to see decent cashback rates

  • +3

Superloop sucks, they require 30 days notice to cancel lol
and if the next billing month starts within that 30 days you gotta pay for that extra month even if you only used 2 days

    Classic corporate greed

    • +1

It was bad enough with no pro rata now this?! I was gonna take up this deal but not sure now …

    • I just cancelled with them (giving notice) a few days ago and they confirmed verbally that it will be pro-rata for the final month. Let's hope that stays true.

    • this is the same process as exetel who are owned by superloop.

i recently cancelled an exetel plan with 30 days notice and the final month was pro rata'd correctly

  • Does it stack with referral code?

    • I was wondering the same. Just noticed though it's only the existing Superloop customer that receives a referral credit on their bill, NOT the new customer in addition like some other ISP's do.
      https://www.superloop.com/internet/free-with-friends

I'd say your friend/family would still get their referral discount as an existing customer.

  • The color they use in the website and chat are utterly against Ui element I think…

  • +1

Looking at the comments don't think I'm going to move to these guys. Any other offers out there? My $89 250/25 Leaptel offer is ending soon.

    Very fast!

  • Signed up for family 100/20 plan yesterday. Cashback tracked within 15 min for 65$. However when I checked the earnings page today, it now says the cashback has been declined by the retailer.

    • That's odd. Will check with the rep @tightarse

    • uh oh

    • +1

Hey @observer. Was quite easy to find your declined order amongst the pending ones and have already reached out to Superloop asking why they declined. Will keep you posted 👍

      • Thanks TA

        • Hi again @observer. This should now be reflecting correctly in your account (please confirm). Superloop found and corrected a minor issue with an API call affecting a couple of orders. Thanks for flagging, and have a wonderful weekend 😊

          • @tightarse: Hi TA, confirming Cashback is back in the earnings page. Thanks for the quick support.

          • @tightarse: Can you select a future connection date for Superloop? I just noticed that my new billing cycle just started with current ISP.

    • I joined yesterday, my cashback hasn't tracked yet.

I received my bill, but the FLASH code also has not been applied.

      • +1

Doesn’t sound great - my cashback tracked within an hour of placing the order and my first full bill (i.e. not the one they send to confirm a viable payment method) also reflects the FLASH code

    does this plan check out?

i'm a little worried that giving notice to superloop at the ~61 day mark will invalidate my cashback.

    • Good question. Also love the diagram - what app did you use?

    • +1 on the diagram! Would love to know how you made it if you don't mind sharing

  • @tightarse how long do you guys take to make tracked orders go from pending to payable because I've been waiting since end of August on items I've bought that are monthly billed services (vpn, mobile etc) so surely you should be able to confirm these orders by now

  • My order from 30 June is confirmed but still not able to withdraw funds on TCB, they seem to take their time letting you withdraw after the merchant confirms the transaction

  • +1

    Signed up. Thank you

  • 3 weeks cashback still not confirmed, sent a ticket 2 weeks ago.

  • Signed up the other day. Cashback tracked no problem.

Superloop (pre-activation) customer service on the other hand, absolutely awful!!

  • I came to the "Place your order" step and still cannot see the option to choose "I have a promo code" and I dare not to click on "Place your order" . Can some one please shed some light? Thank you.
