  • The most recent review I could find
    https://www.displayninja.com/benq-ex321ux-review/
Earlier reviews weren't great but there has been several firmware updates since.

    • From the review the brightness seems out of wack or the review has its numbers backwards. it does 1400nits in 100% window but only 900 nits in 3% window.. thats so wierd.

A $1,759 32" monitor. I'm sure this is as much an OzBargain as a $5,000 coffee making machine.

    • +6

It's funny how people still can't understand that something that is expensivecan still be a bargain. If the regular price of the $5000 coffee machine is $8000 then $5000 will be a bargain to someone looking to buy it.

    • With my tax write-off, $1759 is only $932 (45% tax + 2% Medicare)

Can connect my C64 to this?

    • Are you keeping up with the Commodore?

      • +2

Cause the Commodore is keeping up with you!

Prolly worth around $1500. This is very old tech and with everyone jumping on qd oled, you can expect brighter panels in qd oled next year or in 2026 that will be able to do 1400nits.

  • What burn in issues of OLED? Has anyone to date actually had burn in happen on any of the recent monitors released (ie. the last 3-5 years)? If so I’m curious to read about it.

  • It's a very bright monitor, but has very poor contrast in sRGB mode (less than 700:1), has slow response times and doesn't have variable overdrive either. Reviewers don't recommend it, especially at this price.
