      • I am certain I found a button to cancel with

  • My membership was about to expire later this month for $40 and I decided to cancel. When I did I got an option to renew for $20 which I accepted.

  • Damn I signed up for one month for a Kmart deal last week. And then Kmart cancelled all 3 orders anyway.
    Well played OnePass

  • My sub ended two weeks ago, from the $20 deal last year. Was able to sign up for $20 again. Thanks OP.

  • I have already cancelled it last month but it won't expire until 17 November. So I will re-sign even it is lapsed.

  • Mine expires in 3 days. Be back and do for $20.

  • Less than 2 weeks until mine's up, but I've only got 'cancelling' and no renewal option.

  • +1

The offer runs until 02/Dec, so there's no need to rush to sign up until you need it.

But if you are counting on a repeat of this offer next year and need a lapsed membership by then, perhaps don't wait.

  • I may be going crazy, but my membership is "cancelling" and I have no where that allows me to renew? No button to click under "My membership".

Have to wait until 12 Nov, like the reason why I missed out the last $12 deal

      • Yeha ok thanks. Dumb.

      • Same

    • Same. Don't need to renew yet anyway. Possibly there will be a $10 deal later.

    • This happened last time. Some people got the offer , others didnt. I was one of them.

Not sure when mine lapsed but i can see this new one.

As noted by others, let it expire then try before end of the month.

Not sure if this should be a seperate post, or maybe add to the original post, it's also half price for flybuys, and that applies for existing members (so 4000 points instead of 8000)

It also says that "Your OnePass Redemption code will be valid for 3 years from redemption date" so I guess you can buy now and apply to your account later for the annual membership to start

As an existing member with membership expiring 27/11/24, this is what I did:

Login > My Membership > Update Payment Details > Cancel Membership > Continue to Cancel

After this, I suddenly got a popup with a last minute $20 discount for my renewal after 27/11/24, which brings it down to $20.

      Thanks. This worked for me.

Thanks! My membership expires this month and this worked for me.

Thanks! This worked for me! Appreciate your tip!

Thanks OP. Not having to walk inside a Kmart for a year is well worth $20.

  • +1

Reckon it's worth it? Bunnings and Kmart It's a free delivery but we literally go there at least once a week anyway so it doesn't really help. My last year finished up and I feel Indifferent about whether I got my $20 value last year.

    • I'd say it's worth it for the 5x points alone.

I spend quite a bit at Bunnings, so the 5x in points really adds up quickly to 2000pts, which gives me $10 off my coles shop

      • +1

Basically spend $800 in those stores to get 5x to pay the $20 right?

        • +2

Actually $1000 is the break even point because you would have gotten 1x Flybuys points without Onepass so the bonus is 4x Flybuys points per dollar. $20 is 4000 Flybuys so divide by 4 poinst per dollar and you get $1000

Free prioritised click and collect. I got various deals on high selling items by ordering and going to pick up, its handy. Plus I hate going to kmart and them not having stock. If you order online they find it from the store with the stock.

    • +1

I personally don't get value from it. I got it for cheap delivery but find I never buy anything online from the listed stores.

I am an member and it worked thank you OP

How did you get it to work as a member?

  • +1

For anyone currently in a plan, I just went to cancel mine now (had 3 weeks remaining), and got a message:

"Get $20 off for one year if you stay"

So I did. And It worked.

    • thank you tried this and worked exactly like this for me

    • +2

I cancelled a while back. Expires in 3 days. No button to resubscribe but have to wait until expired.

      • Expired earlier today. Went on app click sub it come up $20 no trial. Paid and cancelled so no autorenew next year.

      • I cancelled 5 days ago. My membership status has been "Cancelling" until today. Went to start inputting the Flybuys redemption code and before I could input it, my membership status changed to "$12 payment ($28 discount) will be applied on 14 November 2024" !!

I buy bunch of stuff from Kmart all the time I think one pass is good enough. Better than eBay plus at this point

    • I used to but 80% cancelled as no stock. Even when checking online where stock is it is never accurate. So many times gone to further away kmarts just to find that when they check on their end it was at my local. So app/website is not even close to be accurate. Probably just updated once a week and not live.

Logged in via the website, went to manage membership & cancel and the offer to renew for $20 popped up. It said the membership will renew at the reduced price of $20 when the membership period rolls over later this month.

We don't buy a heap of stuff, and the big retailers are somewhat restrictive on what "qualifies" for free shipping, but even buying 3-4 times annually is worth the $20 membership, not to mention the 5x FB on all the shit I buy at Bunnings.

  • Good timing only realized it had lapsed the other day when I couldn't get something from Bunnings.

PSA in case you didn't know since its confusing that they provide you with a onepass card in addition to your existing linked flybuys card:

Make sure to scan your flybuys card instore and not just your onepass card to get 5x points. Some places like bunnings allow you to only scan onepass card but other places like kmart/target require you to scan your flybuys card to get the bonus points.
For example if you only scan your onepass barcode at kmart then it only saves the transaction activity and doesn't give you 5x points.

In summary to ensure you get bonus points, make sure you at least scan your flybuys card instore or better yet scan both cards.

    • For some reason Kmart doesn't recognise my OnePass code so I just scan Flybuys and get the 5x everytime. The wording is confusing and different depending where you look.

    • I dont scan onepass, only flyby and still get 5x points

    • I scan Onepass AND Flybuys each time I go to Bunnings

      • I found it a fair amount of work to link up the 5 (at the time) retailers. When I finally did, it took a few weeks (3 or 4?) before Kmart finally would recognise me as a OnePass member. (Ive only ever scanned FB)

  • Thanks u saved me $20

  • Was literally only lookout this last night
Have been waiting for a $20 (or less) deal since begin Sept
Worth is for $20, definitely not worth it for $40

  • Bad timing, mine expires in December. Wondering if I sign a family member to this under their name for them and let the other one expire.

    • +1

That's what ive read other people doing. There will be an overlap between the 2 memberships, but who cares if it is a short time. Alternatively, you could try changing your current subscription email address to a throwaway email, and then subscribe again with your email address as a new user. (i haven't tried this, might or might not work)

      • I tried to cancel it and it came up with this offer for when it renews. It was a good trick, and too easy. Now im wondering if the same would happen if they have a reduced $12 deal!

  • Got it to work as an existing member (ublock/adblock off) and get a popup when going to cancel. Great trick, thanks to the person that suggested it! Its also great that it doesnt overlap the existing membership, it renews at $20 when the existing membership is due.

    • +1

How do we cancel? Has to go through app? Login on the website but can't find any cancellation button

  • Has anybody been able to get the app to work? Logging in on the website via the app just infinitely loads.

  • +2

People with lots flybuys points, it's now just 4000 points to get this subscription

    • +1

Is that not the same cost…. 2k points it's $10.

      • yes same but one you pay with real money one with points

        • Yes but the logic for me is I spend that
$20 with credit card and get points for, save that 4k points for something free later which I don't need to deduct points right now… Credit card will allow delayed payment to keep cash flow

  • Thanks OP, mine ran out 2 weeks ago, was waiting for this to happen…..=) Perfect timing

  • So you can't cancel your membership then reuse your same email to sign up again. How does that even work. So cannot signup. Shame.

    • +1

Can you use the Gmail trick adding dots to your Gmail address!?

    • I cancelled yesterday on the last day of my membership.

I logged in today, and it offered me the $20 deal.

      Sweet…

  • The app is terrible but eventually got in. Yay me! Sincere thx to OZB and the OP as otherwise I would not have known about this offer

  • Rarely use onepass, it looks like the delivery companies they go with were the cheapest

Poor service/notification of when its to be received and long delay every time,

Twice delivery went to the apartment across from me

    • Various stores use different services for different items, probably depends on location. Ive had various couriers, australia post, even officeworks came the same day to deliver a $1 bin which was a surprise.

  • nice

  • Weird some existing members get offered the discounted renewal, while others are just, 'sorry to see you go - bye!' - Haha.

Maybe renewal needs to be coming up this calendar year to work, and anything after 31 Dec is too far away.

    • my renewal is 15/11 - went to cancel, no offer.

However I only paid $20 for the current membership, so perhaps that is the driver for not getting $20 to stay offer

  • +1

i use it so rarely i just sign up for a new free trial every time

  • I have 150 days left on my subscription. If I renew using this promo will I have roughly 500 days of membership or will it just do 365 and I "lose" the 150?

    • +1

I have 150 days left on my subscription. If I renew using this promo will I have roughly 500 days of membership

Won't let you renew with existing subscription.

  • I'm in a Match rotation for some reason.

EDIT: Tried to cancel because it wwas around the same time as other people were successful. Now I'm $-20, maybe even $28 in the red! Not happy!

  • I managed to re-enable the membership and then successfully apply the code. As i said earlier, its not a friendly app!!

  • I received this promo upon cancelling my active subscription.

I have an active subscription that will expire in 9 days, when I tried to cancel, it prompted me with this offer. I used the website for this.

  • I tried to cancel mine and they offered me $20 off to renew.

  • First time in my life I've ever gone for an annually membership.

  • At Target (online), it seems clearance items are not eligible for free delivery under Onepass. Did they change this recently, or was it like this from the beginning?

  • Anyone know if you can stack Catch Giftcards with Cashback from the likes of Cashrewards, ShopBack, etc?
