  • Is Rapoo legit or nah? I've been needing a new mouse for productivity and gaming so this does look really good. What do the side buttons do?

    • +4

      rapoo are fine

i like there budget wireless mouses cause they also have bluetooth, compared the likes of logitech and other brands were BT is normally on the more expensive models.

for productivity and general use its fine.

for gaming i would get something a bit larger

    • +1

I've got to t one of their other mice. Previous deal and it's great. I'd rate ir almost as good as my logitech g502 wireless mouse for everyday use

      • What brand of keyboard do you have, so I can avoid it?

    • +1

Legit, one of the best selling brands in China. Great bang for buck and their build quality is not bad.

  • +3

what could go wrong for $12. Ordered. Thanks OP

    • +7

      what could go wrong

      Fatal OzBargain mistake.

    • +1

Last I tried rapoo mouse, was too heavy that my productivity would go down if I continued

  • Bought a Rapoo MT760 on Pirme Day for $40 and thought it was a good deal. If this one has most of the MT760 features, then it's a steal.

  • +2

    Didn't need, bought anyway

    • -2

Why? You wasted money that could have been spent on something you actually need. Also do you not consider the environment when purchasing things for no reason?

      • Pffft. Bought a new environment…..

      • +1

Bit of a facetious comment… it's to replace a wired mouse I use at the office

    • +1

Don't need one, already got a spare in the original packaging, and yes… bought one anyway.

Figure I'll set it up at my parents' place.

  • Does anyone know if this is AA or AAA?

    • +3

      AA

      • How long does the battery last?

        • I've only had the mouse about 3 months so i can't comment beyond that im sorry, obv havent had to replace it yet

        • They claim 12 months, but it depends whether you're using BT or the dongle - should get at least 6-9 months in real usage though.

  • Thanks I paid $15 something but I did need it and it's an upgrade for me having Bluetooth connectivity because my couch Mouse wasn't working very well and it didn't have Bluetooth so thank you rapu

  • This vs logitech M185? Less than $2 difference rn. Dont care about anything other than left and right click and scroll wheel for the office.

    • +3

I bought this a while ago and am surprised at how much I like it. The 2 click buttons are soft click and feel perfect. The 2 side buttons are normal click and it feels weird compared to the soft main buttons, but honestly excellent at this price

    • If you don't care about the side buttons or Bluetooth, then it doesn't really matter. Personally, I'd get this for the side buttons (back button is so freaking useful in web browser or file explorer).

  • +1

I got this little bastard recently after searching for "silent" mice. It's pretty good and quiet except for the scroll button which is a bit too clicky. Overall a good lil fella tho.

  • +2

Does this mouse smell really bad?

    • No… Is that something you were looking for?

    • +1

Most rodents do have scent-marking behaviour, especially in new environments. Unfortunately this means that your mouse will smell the worst when you first bring it home, but the smell should subside somewhat as the mouse gets accustomed to its new surrounds.

    • Lol! The brand name could have been worse and called Rapee!

      • Rapee

        I've seen this brand overseas.

  • +1

Any promotion for Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo please

  • Cheap and nice but it looks like you it must be turned over to switch between devices so wouldn't be suitable for fast switching to control multiple devices.

  • logitech triathlon m720 is better

    • +1

Agreed that it's functionally superior with a dedicated easy to reach button to enable fast almost seamless switching to control multiple devices but it's far more expensive. I have/use one. Unfortunately haven't found a cheaper equivalent alternative :-(

    • Thanks. Who is selling them for $12?

      • you cannot buy m720 at this price. I assume that two mouse function are 70-80% same apart logi's wheel.

        • +1

A Logitech MX Anywhere 3S is also better, but wouldn't think a $110 mouse relevant in a deal about a $12 mouse.

          • @rumblytangara: I have M720, MX Master 3S and very old V470 bluehooth(I bought it at 2009), and unopened MX vertical.

I am using M720 and Master 3S both in different offices.

M720 's wheel is far better than Master 3S, due to it's wheel equips horizontal scroll function than 3S.

3S thumb position wheel does not provides much advantage.

  • Anyone else have the cursor go crazy for a split second every few minutes?

  • This shows up as $15.89, what am i missing?

    • +1

Also have to click the apply 10% discount as well as the 47% discount. I had to go back to do it, it stacks.

      • Amazing! I was missing the 10% thank you kindly.

If buying 2 its $14~ each, if more then $16~

        1 it is…

  • Awesome

  • Anyone know if there's any noticeable input lag?

    • Do you have have a wired mouse currently?

      • Yeah using the Razer deathadder essential on desktop.
But also recently bought a UGREEN wireless mouse for work with noticeable input lag that I can't stand.
My travel razer orochi v2 doesn't have noticeable lag on either 2.4G or bluetooth.

        • Ok so you have exp with wireless. Well that Ugreen might be faulty because a wireless mouse for desktop use (not gaming) should not have noticeable lag.

  • +1

Definitely decent for this price, but does feel light and like cheap plastic fyi

    • +1

I will stuff some rice in mine to give it that heavy quality feel.

  • Nice deal! Thanks for sharing!

  • -1

how do I buy 2 of these?

    • Select 2
      Buy

There doesn't seem to be any restriction?

  • shows $19.98 for me.. has the price expired ?

    • +1

Yes it looks like it. The lower price was only for the blue coloured mouse and I don't see that available anymore for purchase.

      • That's the one I wanted :-\

  • The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

Has it ended? I applied this at checkout and can’t see where else to apply the code

  • I think they are out of stock.
No blue left. Code doesn’t work on grey or black.

  • What's the procedure for changing DPI? I need a mouse that is fast to change DPI, like the MX518 with 2 DPI buttons. Most with a single DPI button will cycle through the rates, making it very hard to know which rate you were on and which rate you've changed to without testing.

    • +1

It's a single button. I doubt this has any software to reprogram that either.

That button is also pretty loud and clicky, so you don't want to be changing DPI in a quiet environment. But then, the side buttons are the same level of clicky, so if you buy this because it's quiet, I hope you only need to use the 2 main buttons.

      • Thanks!

    • Yup just cycles through. (4 Cycles). You will know when it round robins as the first mode becomes very slow to respond. I have it on 'click 3' or 2nd from the highest.

  • Got mine, love the 24hr Amazon deliveries. It's a bit on the smaller side if you have massive hands or used to larger mouse designs but you get used to it fast. Decent build quality especially for the discounted price of $12. No software to install, plug in receiver and install battery. No lag, quick response (using the receiver USB dongle). Main left and right buttons and scroll wheel is silent but the side back, forward and DPI switch buttons are clicky. The silent main left and right buttons feels very nice with good travel and the silent click feels satisfying as you can feel it click. Wish the black one was on special, blue one I got looks a bit naff on my all black desk setup. Worst thing is the environmentally unfriendly packaging with plastic blister pack you need to cut open with scissors. Overall, happy with purchase, excellent buy at $13.

    • I decided to search for the software to configure the mouse and found it on the Rapoo website. It allowed me to configure the buttons. I was particularly interested in configuring the side buttons to launch certain programs or perform specific Windows function.

Overall really happy with the purchase despite the unusual blue colour.

      • Yeah, I saw that but decided against installing it on my computer due to various reasons. Also don't need the side buttons to do anything else other than the default Browser back and forward.
