Yeah, you show them. A sticker will surely end the war.

Not a bargain. Read the room.

    • +2

Did you actually read the room? Or just the select few for your confirmation bias? Fact, 3.9x more positive votes vs negs

      • +2

        Projecting.
The large amount of non voters may as well be negs.

  • +7

OMG! Hard to believe that this is a bargain hunting site. Can someone at OzBargain please move this post to some other brainless talk site so we can have our actual bargain discussions back?

  • +12

They have a problem with Jews in Israel.
They have a problem with Buddhists in Srilanka
They have a problem with Christians in all of Europe
They have a problem with Hindus in India
Once all these problems are eliminated then there is a problem with Sunni and Shia

    • +3

They have a problem with Pluto being a planet, now it's not RIP!

    • +3

Only one single problem needs to be solved.

    • This be real talk!

  • +4

Israel will bomb your car if you put this sticker on, they won’t be sure if there was a hamas leader in it

    • +3

Yeah, these stickers are great to show you don’t approve of Israel killing Aussie aid workers overseas.

  • +14

    Not a bargain.

Really dissapointed to see this kind of thing posted on Ozbargain.

  • +17

Casual reminder that Amnesty International Australia had its donor database hacked last year and didn't bother to inform anyone. Irrespective of your views on this conflict, you shouldn't trust this organisation with your personal information.

  • help me find a popcorn deal please

  • +6

I'm pretty sure I can get free stickers from my local politicians too, but last time I checked, this does not constitute a "bargain"…

  • +1

This could be the only topic that seems rile people up more than American politics. Grabbing the popcorn.

  • Zios stay mad lel

  • +5

Why don’t we see any other conflict propaganda from the pro pali crowd? China? Iran? Turkey bombing Kurds ect. Don’t worry, one of em will reply to this with some further propaganda. Seems they only care about one conflict. I wonder why 🤔

  • +5

Not a bargain, would be free normally.

  • +9

Free the hostages. Now that would be a deal.
Like the Greens, Amnesty Int just supports terrorists now.

    • +2
      1. I agree but too bad the Israeli government doesn't agree with us. They had multiple opportunities but said no. Google Jewish news Haaretz for more details.

      2. If you're talking about freeing the thousands of hostages from Israel prison, then I agree with you too. Did you hear about how IDF gang assaulted prisoners and there was a protest to side with the people who committed assault? Worse than terrorist

    • +2

      Palestine is not Hamas….

      • -1

Really? Who did they vote in?

Why are most of their schools named after terrorists?

Why are there so many Hamas weapons caches in childrens bedrooms through Gaza?

How did the 360km+ of tunnels get built?

        hmmmmmm

If we are just spamming on this chat, here are some interesting facts:

Palestinian Center for POLICY and SURVEY RESEARCH - March 10 survey 2024

The sample size of this poll is 1580 adults, of whom 830 were interviewed face to face in the West
Bank (in 83 locations) and 750 in the Gaza Strip (in 75 locations)

Almost two-thirds blame Israel for their
suffering and most of the others blame the US; in the Gaza Strip, only 9%, a 10-point drop from our
    previous poll, blame Hamas.

Support for Hamas’ offensive on October the 7th in
the Gaza Strip has increased by 14 points.

Almost all Palestinians think Israel is committing war crimes
while almost all believe Hamas is not committing war crimes in the current war.

    More
than 90% believe that Hamas did not commit any atrocities against Israel civilians during its October
    the 7th offensive.

60% of Gazans think that Hamas will remain in control of gaza.

    Gazans’ support
for continued Hamas control over the Gaza Strip has increased to more than 50%

71% of Gazans believe Hamas was correct to launch the Oct 7 attack

    • +6

Can you do polling results of how many Israeli civilians supported their illegal settlements over the past several decades?

Also a few polls from when Israel shoots journalists ‘accidentally’. And also when they shot the three Israeli civilians waving white flags.

      • +2

        Easy done

When it comes to Jewish settlements in the West Bank, 40% of the public say they help Israeli national security, while 35% say they hurt. An additional 21% think settlements don’t make much difference to the country’s security.

        • Superkid you are on fire.

  • -2

200 up votes and counting well done

    • +7

It isn't a true reflection given you need to post a comment to neg, much more work than clicking the upvote button.

  • +12

This sticker was free to start with so this is not a deal (hence the neg vote), just a thinly veiled attempt to make a statement on a bargain site. It is really good to have calm meaningful debate and use critical thinking techniques about such a layered complex topic. If you ever feel you want to know more on how to do this there is a great group called solution not sides that has come the closest to portraying a balanced un-bigoted view in my opinion.

  • +9

So why can't they take the money they spend to manufacture and send these to people and send it to the people in Gaza? I just don't understand it.

  • +10

    0% deal
    100% grandstanding

  • +11

Never thought I would see this day in OzB!

  • +12

Supporting Gaza = supporting Hamas = supporting terrorism

    • +6

So supporting civilians in Gaza = supporting terrorism? Time to go back to school…

      • If they want to kill us, then yes. And 07/10/2024 we saw the evidence that they want and will kill us when they get a chance

        • +3

Hamas is not the same as Palestine.

          • +1

@Jj456: so, all those people kidnapping/killing/celebrating the terrorist acts in October last year were Hamas members only?
Don't you think that supporting Gaza gives credibility/approval for the terrorist acts. I just don't believe that "The end justifies the means".
I would understand supporting the movement "Solidarity with non terrorists (civilians) in Gaza".
Unfortunately, "Gaza solidarity" movement doesn't separate terrorists and civilians, so it shouldn't be supported.

            • @DmitryZ: I make the distinction between civilians and Hamas. I support Israeli and Gazan civilians. I do not support Hamas or the IDF given the atrocities they have both committed.

              • +1

@Jj456: Yet, you support the movement justifying the terrorism and more killing and more war, instead of supporting the civilians. Just follow the link and read the text, found anything about the civilians, about peace, releasing the hostages?

                • @DmitryZ: Where does the website justify terrorism and war? Oh wait it doesn’t….

  • +4

Co-existence is the only end game.

  • +11

Why are moderators allowing this post? It's not a deal and is dividing the ozbargain community.

  • +8

Islamist propaganda should not be allowed on this platform.

  • +7

This is supporting terrorism; not a deal.

  • I'd probably bite if it was a free hat

  • +12

If you want to support them, go to the country you want to support instead of crying from afar here in Australia.

  • +16

Left wing loonies again! Amnesty , the Greens - since when did they all become terrorist supporters?

  • +10

How is this deal? Was it $10 before and now free?

  • +5

Rape is not resistance. Bring them home!

  • +9

    waste

  • +6

    Woke

  • Always was, Always Will be stickers seem more appropriate when talking about Israel.

  • +4

Why did the Hamas leader's wife need that expensive handbag? People are lack of food and they took UN aids. How does UN work to avoid the misuse of the aids? Palestinians are suffering due to roles played by Hamas. They were seeking war and were successful to achieve it.

    • +1

It wasn't an expensive handbag. Israel just makes up bs like that to rile up people like you into supporting their atrocities

      • +4

How do I know if you are believing fake news or not? I can choose to believe last year hamas did not aduct Isralis and no wars are happening in gaza. All are made up. This Amnesty whatsoever is made up organisation? Do you believe Muslims kids were separated from their parents in Xinjiang.

The only real thing I believe is that living on the earth has a lot of suffering. Think about helping Australians who are suffering first.

        • You can look closely at the photos for a start?

  • +10

Probably a life time ban coming up but (profanity) Israeli Zionists, nothing but a bunch of butchering pricks. No offence to my Jewish friends.

  • +5

How is this a deal ? Now distributing free protesting stickers be called a deal ?

  • +3

Mightswell be a “rapist solidarity” sticker. Which is strange coming from supposed leftists.

    • +1

no…. it's not supporting the IDF

  • +3

Regardless of where you fall, why would someone go through a phone call to get a sticker? If you were donating or something, you were already doing that. Slapping a sticker (for anything) on your car or whatever helps nothing, it's the other side of the world, at least slapping a Collingwood sticker on your car lets the people you pass know you're a (profanity), throwing this on your car just shows you're aware of something happening somewhere and feel the need to let people know that you know.

Donate, don't donate, I don't care, Phoning someone to get a sticker is silly. Just like the Ukraine ones, slapping a sticker on something in Australia really does nothing

    • +1

why would someone go through a phone call to get a sticker?

      You missed the important bit:

"By taking action, you give permission for Amnesty International Australia to contact you about more ways to support our campaigns."

Which means this is just an attempt to gather people's details, so they can contact them to spread their propaganda.

      • +1

        Oh no, I got that.

I don't think it's worth a phone call for a sticker. The idea of even more phone calls, without even the promise of a sticker, is even worse. Should use a phone booth lol

  • +7

So terribly sorry for the civilian at Gaza, we are so lucky to live here.

    • +9

We are so lucky because we don't shoot rockets at our neighbours, plant bombs, rape women, kill innocent civilians and hide behind hospitals and schools, instead of fighting like real men & women. Not sure if someone can cry victim after doing all these barbaric nonsense for decades!!

      • -1

You clearly do not know anything about Palestine. You would have done the same (possibly worse) as Hamas if your land was taken away by foreign people. It is unfortunate but true.

  • +1

I have nothing to say, I'm just throwing my comment in there to make the comment count go higher

  • +12

How about return the hostages sticker? Or free Gaza from Hamas sticker?

    • +7

or return palestinians their homes sticker? or release their prisoners sticker? free palestinians from israeli genocide/apartheid sticker?

      • -1

Their prisoners have blood on their hands. Hamas has 2 year old babies. You clearly don't understnad what genocide is.

    • +3

Closest I could find were some bring them home bracelets for $20 on eBay.

Maybe I'll get a discount code for all the negs who wish to buy one?

  • +6

What is it with stickers and triggering people?

  • +11

Another woke sticker and agenda. Next sticker would be "I love Hamas" and "I love Hezbollah".

    • +8

nearly as funny as the rallies around the world about LGBTQ supporting Palestine.. no clue as to what Hamas would do if they rocked up in Palestine with their flags…

    • +3

      @ azm
I reckon "I despise israel and those that support its war crimes" would be a best seller!

    • +3

Ahh ABC the epitome of unbiased, spin free, truthful news reporting.

      • +6

        compared with what? fox/sky/murdoch?

      • +2

Not that they're without criticism, but ABC is one of the most unbiased media sources we have. And media watch is an excellent show.

  • +4

    🍿

  • +13

Hats off to HAMAS propaganda department - they are so effective, they would win old Goebbels' approval.
This conflict started on October 7th, 2023 when HAMAS paragliding in to Israel to slaughter innocent party goers, tortured, raped and took hostages.
HAMAS are interwoven with Gazan civilians. Yes there is collateral damage, as in all wars. HAMAS happen to be masterful at exploiting the imagery and narrative and a whole generation appear to be lapping it up.
Don't like it? Returning the hostages would be and excellent starting point to a ceasefire.
Neg for no deal + propaganda.

    • +9

Stop lapping up the idf propaganda

      • +3

So my first comment was unpublished for sharing a link to a well known site with videos filmed by Hamas on October 7th 2023.

But these are easily googleable. It's not IDF propaganda, these videos were shared and celebrated by residents of Gaza.

        Not a deal.

        • You've never seen any video of israel's brave slaughter of civilians from a distance?

    • +1

      @ King Tightarse
shows how stupid this person is….. the conflict started in 2023…. not 70 years earlier when israel started its illegal occupation.
Return the hostages? Not a goal of the leader of the israeli war criminals, netanyahu.

  • +2

No thanks! I don't want to get contacted by chuggers…

  • +7

Hamas shoot rockets at innocent civilians throughout the year and hide behind hospitals and schools, instead of fighting like real men & women. Not sure if someone can cry victim after doing all these barbaric nonsense for decades!! This sticker nonsense shouldnt be even allowed to post in a civilised society. Go back to that sh*thole if you idolize Hamas and terrorism that much. Don't bring that filth over here.

    • +3

Palestine is definitely not terrorist. Saving motherland from foreign invaders is not terrorism.

      • +6

Yet another poster who has no grasp on history… Go read real history books and then come back.

        • +2

          😁

      • +1

As it turns out Arabs are from Arabia….. That's a fair distance from Israel. Turns out if you want decolonisation of the area, a lot of Gazans will need to go back to their ancestral land.

        • +2

turns out your knowledge of history came from the back of a jewish religious document

        • +1

Who wants decolonisation? Migration is a normal phenomenon in history of mankind, while forceful settlement is NOT.

          • +1

            @io: Forceful settlement?

Why can't jews migrate to the west bank or Gaza?

            • +1

@Superkid: Same reason they can’t invade AU and build a nation for them here.

              • +2

@io: If your suggesting Israel invaded Palestine, you may be saddened to learn such a state never existed. It was offered to the locals, but regrettably they decided to decline.

Israel as it turns out did not invade, but did capture some land in defensive wars
