Why are moderators allowing this post? It's not a deal and is dividing the ozbargain community.

  • +10

Islamist propaganda should not be allowed on this platform.

    • +1

      100%

  • +8

This is supporting terrorism; not a deal.

  • I'd probably bite if it was a free hat

  • +14

If you want to support them, go to the country you want to support instead of crying from afar here in Australia.

  • +18

Left wing loonies again! Amnesty , the Greens - since when did they all become terrorist supporters?

  • +10

How is this deal? Was it $10 before and now free?

  • +8

Rape is not resistance. Bring them home!

  • +9

    waste

  • +6

    Woke

  • Always was, Always Will be stickers seem more appropriate when talking about Israel.

  • +5

Why did the Hamas leader's wife need that expensive handbag? People are lack of food and they took UN aids. How does UN work to avoid the misuse of the aids? Palestinians are suffering due to roles played by Hamas. They were seeking war and were successful to achieve it.

    • It wasn't an expensive handbag. Israel just makes up bs like that to rile up people like you into supporting their atrocities

      • +4

How do I know if you are believing fake news or not? I can choose to believe last year hamas did not aduct Isralis and no wars are happening in gaza. All are made up. This Amnesty whatsoever is made up organisation? Do you believe Muslims kids were separated from their parents in Xinjiang.

The only real thing I believe is that living on the earth has a lot of suffering. Think about helping Australians who are suffering first.

        • You can look closely at the photos for a start?

  • +8

Probably a life time ban coming up but (profanity) Israeli Zionists, nothing but a bunch of butchering pricks. No offence to my Jewish friends.

  • +5

How is this a deal ? Now distributing free protesting stickers be called a deal ?

  • +4

Mightswell be a “rapist solidarity” sticker. Which is strange coming from supposed leftists.

    • -1

no…. it's not supporting the IDF

  • +3

Regardless of where you fall, why would someone go through a phone call to get a sticker? If you were donating or something, you were already doing that. Slapping a sticker (for anything) on your car or whatever helps nothing, it's the other side of the world, at least slapping a Collingwood sticker on your car lets the people you pass know you're a (profanity), throwing this on your car just shows you're aware of something happening somewhere and feel the need to let people know that you know.

Donate, don't donate, I don't care, Phoning someone to get a sticker is silly. Just like the Ukraine ones, slapping a sticker on something in Australia really does nothing

    • +1

why would someone go through a phone call to get a sticker?

      You missed the important bit:

"By taking action, you give permission for Amnesty International Australia to contact you about more ways to support our campaigns."

Which means this is just an attempt to gather people's details, so they can contact them to spread their propaganda.

      • +1

        Oh no, I got that.

I don't think it's worth a phone call for a sticker. The idea of even more phone calls, without even the promise of a sticker, is even worse. Should use a phone booth lol

  • +6

So terribly sorry for the civilian at Gaza, we are so lucky to live here.

    • +11

We are so lucky because we don't shoot rockets at our neighbours, plant bombs, rape women, kill innocent civilians and hide behind hospitals and schools, instead of fighting like real men & women. Not sure if someone can cry victim after doing all these barbaric nonsense for decades!!

      • -3

You clearly do not know anything about Palestine. You would have done the same (possibly worse) as Hamas if your land was taken away by foreign people. It is unfortunate but true.

  • +1

I have nothing to say, I'm just throwing my comment in there to make the comment count go higher

  • +13

How about return the hostages sticker? Or free Gaza from Hamas sticker?

    • +5

or return palestinians their homes sticker? or release their prisoners sticker? free palestinians from israeli genocide/apartheid sticker?

      • Their prisoners have blood on their hands. Hamas has 2 year old babies. You clearly don't understnad what genocide is.

    • +2

Closest I could find were some bring them home bracelets for $20 on eBay.

Maybe I'll get a discount code for all the negs who wish to buy one?

  • +6

What is it with stickers and triggering people?

  • +13

Another woke sticker and agenda. Next sticker would be "I love Hamas" and "I love Hezbollah".

    • +9

nearly as funny as the rallies around the world about LGBTQ supporting Palestine.. no clue as to what Hamas would do if they rocked up in Palestine with their flags…

    • +1

      @ azm
I reckon "I despise israel and those that support its war crimes" would be a best seller!

    • +5

Ahh ABC the epitome of unbiased, spin free, truthful news reporting.

      • +4

        compared with what? fox/sky/murdoch?

      • +2

Not that they're without criticism, but ABC is one of the most unbiased media sources we have. And media watch is an excellent show.

  • +4

    🍿

  • +14

Hats off to HAMAS propaganda department - they are so effective, they would win old Goebbels' approval.
This conflict started on October 7th, 2023 when HAMAS paragliding in to Israel to slaughter innocent party goers, tortured, raped and took hostages.
HAMAS are interwoven with Gazan civilians. Yes there is collateral damage, as in all wars. HAMAS happen to be masterful at exploiting the imagery and narrative and a whole generation appear to be lapping it up.
Don't like it? Returning the hostages would be and excellent starting point to a ceasefire.
Neg for no deal + propaganda.

    • +8

Stop lapping up the idf propaganda

      • +2

So my first comment was unpublished for sharing a link to a well known site with videos filmed by Hamas on October 7th 2023.

But these are easily googleable. It's not IDF propaganda, these videos were shared and celebrated by residents of Gaza.

        Not a deal.

        • +1

You've never seen any video of israel's brave slaughter of civilians from a distance?

    • +1

      @ King Tightarse
shows how stupid this person is….. the conflict started in 2023…. not 70 years earlier when israel started its illegal occupation.
Return the hostages? Not a goal of the leader of the israeli war criminals, netanyahu.

  • +2

No thanks! I don't want to get contacted by chuggers…

  • +8

Hamas shoot rockets at innocent civilians throughout the year and hide behind hospitals and schools, instead of fighting like real men & women. Not sure if someone can cry victim after doing all these barbaric nonsense for decades!! This sticker nonsense shouldnt be even allowed to post in a civilised society. Go back to that sh*thole if you idolize Hamas and terrorism that much. Don't bring that filth over here.

    • +2

Palestine is definitely not terrorist. Saving motherland from foreign invaders is not terrorism.

      • +7

Yet another poster who has no grasp on history… Go read real history books and then come back.

        • 😁

      • +2

As it turns out Arabs are from Arabia….. That's a fair distance from Israel. Turns out if you want decolonisation of the area, a lot of Gazans will need to go back to their ancestral land.

        • turns out your knowledge of history came from the back of a jewish religious document

        • Who wants decolonisation? Migration is a normal phenomenon in history of mankind, while forceful settlement is NOT.

          • +1

            @io: Forceful settlement?

Why can't jews migrate to the west bank or Gaza?

            • @Superkid: Same reason they can’t invade AU and build a nation for them here.

              • +1

@io: If your suggesting Israel invaded Palestine, you may be saddened to learn such a state never existed. It was offered to the locals, but regrettably they decided to decline.

Israel as it turns out did not invade, but did capture some land in defensive wars

                • @Superkid: Please Google “ spikes picot agreement” and learn that how the a Muslim nation choose the wrong side of a war, that they have nothing to do for, brought them the calamity that they are in.

                  • @io: Generally not sure what your getting at with regards to the agreement?

                    • +1

@Superkid: The agreement allocated control of what is today’s Israel and Palestine. The British divided the Palestine land to the Jewish settlers and started the never ending war which is going on for more than 75 years. Palestine is walled by large and high walls built by Israel and no good thing enters there without their permission.

                      • +2

@io: The British offer both the Jews and local Arabs (not called or identifying as Palestinians) land. The Jews accepted (a smaller portion than originally promised) the Arabs rejected. The Arabs then declared war on the newly formed state and lost. Since losing the war, the Arabs have repeatedly gone to war against the new Jewish nation with a stated goal of driving them into the sea.

To more recent times Israel left Gaza, in a hope it would become a thriving state. The Gazan people elected Hamas, who went on to murder their political rivals and then fire rockets into Israel. After many rockets fired from Gaza into Israel and many terrorist attacks, Israel put a partial blockade on the strip (Egypt has a boarder with Gaza)

I think that's a more accurate description of what went on….. Happy to break down all the wars if required

                        • +1

@Superkid: No, not needed. You are correct. Let me quote you “ The Jews accepted (a smaller portion than originally promised) the Arabs rejected.” The People who rejected did that because that is the right thing to do (it’s called protecting motherland). I am sure of US/Brits one day comes and divide our country (AU) you and me both would reject them and go against the agreement (I hope).

                          • +2

@io: Except, it wasn't their country. It was the Turks then the English. Most of the land was rented from the government with very little owned by private people (mostly Jews as it turns out). So your comparison is a misrepresentation. It's would be more like a renter of an apartment blocking a sale.

                            • @Superkid: You just said “the Arabs rejected and then declared war on the newly formed state”, now you are saying “wasn't Arab peoples country”. So how come if it was not Arab land, the Arab people reject an offer (which is not their land) and then, start a war for it?

                              • +1

@io: They were offered a piece of land, decided not to agree to the offer and then attempted a genocide of the other ethnic group, I'm not sure what's not to understand.

I'll make it simple for you with a narrative. I buy 2 chocolate bars and offer each one to my 2 children. One accepts the other tantrums and says he wants both. The tantruming child ends up with no chocolate and the one who who accepted his gets to keep it

                                • +2

@Superkid: The fact that it was Arab land and the Brits intervened, made the Arab reject occupancy of foreign people in their land. It was Arab land where Arabs worshipped at the Al Aqua mosque for THOUSANDS OF YEARS.

And you say, it was not Arab land 75 years ago! 😞 Hope this helps. Goodnight. Thanks.

                                  • +2

@io: I'm happy to play the game who was there first.

Canaanite, Israelite, Persian, Hellenistic, Hasmonean, Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Crusader, Mamluk, Ottoman, British and Israeli…..

So since there are no Canaanites left, I guess Israelites have the claim to the land.

It's the greatest story of decolonisation ever told.

Just remember out side of Arabia, Arabs are colonists

      • +1

Saving motherland from foreign invaders is not terrorism.

        I agree but Hamas didn’t
Coz they went and attacked/raped innocent civilians.

        • +4

Yes not supporting Hamas either. Don’t even know much about them. Just saying that if you or me face oppression we would have retaliated. That’s normal.

          • @io: Good point but innocent Palestinian civilians themselves support and prop up Hamas, so they are somewhat complicit themselves.

Palestine has received an endless amount of humanitarian funding over the past decade, most of which is either deployed on weaponisation or wasted by the Hamas top brass. Whilst the majority of population suffers in abject poverty.
The entire thing is soo messed up,

    • +4

Have you seen what Gaza looks like? Israel is the one killing the vast majority of innocent civilians.

    • +2

      @ Ozsaver88
"instead of fighting like real men and women" shows a startling lack of understanding of the power of forces of occupation, and the difficulties of resistance fighting against occupiers.
I think you need to learn a bit about the history of WW2 european resistance groups.
You seem to have a weird combination of sympathy for illegal occupation forces….. do you have a swastika and the israeli flag proudly displayed on either side of your bed?…. because they were/are both illegal occupiers of sovereign land acting with breathtaking brutality.

  • +11

Ultimately, a portion of the fund will be used (indirectly) in Yahya Sinwar's final rites or making new tunnels.

  • +7

    Neg for no deal.

    • +7

You need a longer statement as per Ozbargain community guidelines nowadays, otherwise it will be removed soon. Moderators are happy to keep traffic to the site but slow to remove such terrorist sympathisers :)

  • +11

Stop advertising grandstanding on a bargain website .
Would have more sympathy for palestine if they booted the terrorist hamas to end the war. Pretty sure these funds will make their way to hamas or hezby.
Am sick of the fully sick cuz's disrupting our lives with this mumbo jumbo every weekend , move on , nothing to see here.

    • -4

spoken like a true zombie, ignore all the genocide and war crimes….. so long as your new watch has the right brand name.

      • +10

you are the zombie buddy, go to palestine or afganistan, they hate your guts . your crime? you are not a muslim with a zztop beard, or covered fully with only the eyes showing if you are a woman , or are a christian, or gay, lesbian , hindu, asian , jew, confucian, the wrong strain of muslim even or whatever . your virtue signalling might make you feel good about yourself, but if worthless.

        • +2

Just had a thought, if Osama did not have a hankering to play "plane go crash boom in building" , Trumpty Dumpty would probably be buddies with this rubbish, along with Putin and the North Koreans and the great departed, Mr Epstein .

    • +4

Agreed, had enough of these kinds of posts being posted as though they were a deal. Though both sides have their problems, hope to see this virtue signaling of this platform, and get back to genuine bargains only.

  • Free Aphrodisiac nice

  • +11

    Virtue signalling.

  • +1

Oooof just want to get good deals guys. Why ruin it with this

  • +2

    is ozbargain really this astroturfed?

  • +11

Not a deal , stop advertising grandstanding on a bargain website .

  • +7

I think the mods called this deal wrong - whatever their justifications.

Will have to rethink whether I frequent this business or not - just like any other business displaying Palestinian flags.

    • +3

Share me a link to the free hostages stickers. I'll make a seperate post.

    • that would balance out the blowback on businesses with israeli flags I guess….. though there are a lot more zionist businesses.

  • +4

I have been following Ozbargain for a very long time and appreciated how people here contribute to the society by sharing all the good news on sales. However, it's so disheartening to see how many users are genocide supporter; time to leave this portal.

    • +4

      @ leon4747
there are many ignorant posters, and many genocide supporters, but discussion does help to educate more people about israel's war crimes, supported by usa britain and australia.

      • +2

Seems like we can agree on something, support for the genocidal Hamas organisation (elected leadership in Gaza) is terrible. Hopefully we can educate through open dialogue

        • +3

I think you're getting confused mate, Israel is the one slaughtering thousands of innocent Palestinians.

          • +1

@mugen: The war could all be over if Hamas returns the hostages

            • +1

@Superkid: Hamas already tried multiple times. Either way Israel will just continue their occupation and brutalisation of Palestinians regardless.

              • -1

                @Duck Mode:

                Hamas already tried multiple times.

                That didn't happen.

      • +2

@rooster7777 Unfortunately, many people prefer keeping ignorant even after seeing the unimaginable horror being inflicted on the innocent people (specially the children) of Palestine. I always pray for those people to revert to the path of humanity.

    • +1

Agreed, I can't believe how many people support the genocidal organisation Hamas.

  • Is there a free sticker saying I got the Tesla before Elon gone crazy.
