I actually have to turn it down too less than half power so I can push it on carpet.
Note that while this model V8 is good value,the only difference between the various V8's is the attachments offered,so while this one is OK it doesn't come with the soft roller head that's better for wooden floors,so either buy the head separately or fork out for the Absolute model.
