TIL steam mops aren't supposed to be used on specific wood/laminate floors and are really only best for tile/laundry/bathroom flooring etc.

We just moved into a place that has a laminate flooring and we used a cheap one once just after we moved in as a quick clean but supposedly long-term they can cause damage to adhesive/cause bubbles etc.

Was looking at the Shark 7001S but probably not now! Glossy laminate appears to get dirty so quickly.. Was hoping for an easy clean solution, but we'll stick to a good ol moppin then! lol

  • Does anyone own this vacuum? Would you reccomend?

Vacuum is powerful than a normal Karcher one

    • I bought it today after reading the Amazon reviews https://amzn.asia/d/eKmISvg

    • It really powerful and is great for pet hair as the roller will pick it up and there is a mechanism in it that ensures the hair does not wrap around it. The amount of dust/dirt and hair that this thing picks up compared to past vacuums is like night and day.

The only real con i have is that it is a bit bulky and heavy and i would not really use for the car as it is not that manoeuvrable for confined spaces.
