Is the mini-pc a good option for a home media station? It would be always idling and mainly use Plex or other streaming sites.

As a server, yes. Just not so good for HDMI out.

      • I thought DisplayPort's carry audio still, you would just need a DP to HDMI adapter (This is more a question than a statement, so happy to be answered that this isn't the case)

You can do it, its just not the best option, compared to say an apple/android TV.

  • Hi all can you let me know which one of these would be good for office work and to cast onto a tv with chromecast

    • I just ordered $260 option as it has a bigger screen for general office work. Of course it is irrelevant if you are to hook it up to an external screen. I'd think both can cast too

    • Any one of those can handle web browsing, chrome casting and MS Office apps, but I’ll rule out the Tiny PC as it has the oldest and weakest CPU and the least amount of RAM. Between the rest, it comes down to how and where you are going to use it. If you want portability and need to work on the go, then obviously a laptop is better suited. Among the two laptops, the Latitude 7420 has a newer and faster CPU, as well as a larger SSD; and the battery wear could be lower than that of the other one for being newer. But If portability isn’t a concern, then the AIO has the best CPU of out of all 4, and you are getting a built-in ~24" monitor.

  • OK thank you
It won't be connected to a monitor

Sometimes it will be used for casting

    Be wary of this seller.

I'm going to keep commenting this everytime you post because my review on your site was deleted and you never responded the last time I posted or to my feedback via email.

I bought a laptop from these guys very recently. They do not test the batteries as it says "Battery tested 6 to 8 hours life after full charge". This meant when I powered on my laptop I was greeted by a battery error message, and completely unusable.

They also deleted my review of it on their site. https://bufferstock.com.au/product/hp-elitebook-850-g6-lapto…
I gave them 1 star, I saw it posted, a few days later it was gone and still is gone.

    • Did they offer a resolution at the time?

      • +2

No, no resolution, no reply to my email, no reply to my previous comments on OzBargain, and probably no reply to this comment either. Just straight up deleted my review on their site.

I had to spend an extra $105 to get a working battery.

like to hear from OP on this…

      • +2

        Me too.
I was just about to buy the All-in-One for my dad, but I have reservations now…

        • as expected , no response from the OP, & he is gone.. :) , hope will appear soon with another deal..

          as a side note I bought https://bufferstock.com.au/product/dell-latitude-7420-laptop…

from this detail , it arrived yesterday
Not a single mark , it is almost brand new, in perfect condition, except charger had small mark which dont care. battery is 99% , really impressed, it is really worth the money..

I expect OP can do more to build the trust here.

          • @chutibuti: Can you please elaborate on checking battery capacity? I check mine and it said design capacity is 51,004 mwh, full charge capacity is only 40,652 mwh. Does this mean my battery only have about 78% capacity left?

  • Does the Precision have a backlit keyboard?

  • Anymore stock OP? Both laptop showing OOS
