About this item:
I saw it after I posted. Updated,
N=1
I personally recommend this toothbrush, my dentist always compliments me on how clean my teeth are and I never floss. (not a replacement for flossing, I'm a retard, you should floss)
I swear it's RNG, always used manual, floss only when I feel I need it (mangoes etc lol). Dentist always says I have great teeth, never had a cavity… Idk. Knocks on wood
Well there's genetics at play and nutrition, but also, if everybody used a manual and taught themselves to brush, statistically some would luck into the "best" way. That's probably you!
I wasn't so lucky, have had a few cavities but ever since an electric + pressure sensor + fluoridated mouthwash the dentist has been impressed.
Nice, ye that makes sense. Glad it's working out for you
Good price, I paid $79 for mine back in 2020 when it was on sale.
I found the Oral-B toothbrushes with this design (the big rubber strip down the middle) accumulate gunk easily on the rubber part, and the rubber part can eventually disintegrate after 3+ years (depending on how rough you are).
If this is a problem for you, I would recommend the 3000 series which only has rubber on the button, but it is harder to grip, for $72.24: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/870048
edit: I haven't tried any other brands, this advice is mainly for people comparing the 2000/3000 series.
Take the brush head off after you use it and there will be zero residues on the toothbrush
I have this one and the cheaper oral b 800 Pro …. this Oral-B Pro 2000 is the one to get.. Fast charge battery the lasts 5 times as long and is fully charged within an hour or two.
The oral b 800 Pro takes 24 hours to charge and last around 5-6 brushes.
Yeah that’s because the 2000 battery is made of lithium ions, the 800 battery is not
I have a similar version to this toothbrush and it is good. The battery lasted 2 weeks while I travelled overseas and I didn't have to worry about the charger as I was in a 110V country,
Too many models/version, its too confusing.
They have pro 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000.. whats the difference ?
There is also this Pro 2, 2000 is this the same as pro 2000…
Pro 3000 is cheaper on amazon..
Basically it is the old NiMH battery, or the newer Lithium Ion battery. Then there is 2 modes and 3 modes, finally bluetooth and no bluetooth.
$127.88 delivered for two ($63.94 ea).

Oral-B Pro 2000 Black Electric Toothbrush + Travel Case at $67.15 seems like a better deal?
