Hey Oz Bargain Community,

If you're flat chat, please feel welcome to skip to the bold for the deal details, but if you have have an extra couple of minutes please read the rest as there's some super thrilling (perhaps a slight overstatement) order process improvements :)

We've been continuing on the innovation path striving to further improve the Lime Blue Coffee experience for you, taking careful note of direct or indirect feature requests. Adding to our self-serve dispatch date rescheduling feature I'm super exciting to announce you now have even more power and control to edit your own orders post-purchase. Some of you may have noticed there's now an "Edit or View Your Order" button contained within your order confirmation email, simply click it and in addition to changing your dispatch date date you can now edit your shipping address in real time, change variant selection (e.g. switching between 500g and 1kg bag packaging), add products, upgrade shipping and so many more features to come…For example, let's say you order today and set dispatch for the end of the month, between now and then you move house or go on holiday and want your order send their, no problem, simply click the "Edit or View Your Order" and change the address in real time prior to the dispatch date; or perhaps you had some surprise guests over the weekend and are suddenly about to run out of the good stuff (shock horror) and your next Lime Blue Coffee order in the pipeline is set for dispatch in two weeks time via standard shipping, no problem, simply click the "Edit or View Your Order" button, fast track the dispatch date and then upgrade to Express shipping; another scenario that we've identified where this enhanced tech will come in handy is for example let's say you have an existing unfulfilled order for our Brazil Single Origin and suddenly we release a new featured Single Origin via a special deal and you're super excited to try it, as such you'd like to add to this existing order, simply click the "Edit or View Your Order" button and add it to your existing order, now coincidently by adding to your existing order your products now total over $69, well that's an extra bonus because our system will recognise this post-purchase addition, unlock free shipping for you and in doing so automatically issue a refund for the shipping you already paid when you first ordered. You ask, we listen, so here we go!

To celebrate these order process upgrades we're offering you a 40% discount off our much loved Moments to Memories blend, delicious Swiss Water Process Decaf Coffee, and our in between/Goldilocks option Half Strength Full Flavour Moments to Memories Blend (it's a 50:50 blend of our Moments to Memories blend and SWP Decaf):

1) Moments to Memories, only $25.50 per 1kg (usually $42.50 per 1kg) and only $15.15 per 500g (usually $25.25 per 500g)

2) Swiss Water Process Decaf, only $29.39 per 1kg (usually $48.98 per 1kg) and only $17.09 per 500g (usually $28.49 per 500g)

3) Half Strength Full Flavour Moments to Memories Blend, only $27.44 per 1kg (usually $45.74 per 1kg) and only $16.12 per 500g (usually $26.87 per 500g)

Deal valid for orders placed until 15/10/2024, unless sold out before. Dispatch can happen for you as near as Monday and as far as the second last Thursday in December (19/12/2024). Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting
  • We're happy to accommodate dispatch date changes, you just need to submit your request within 60 days of your order being placed and at least 24 hours prior to the current dispatch date selected. Please submit date change requests via a reply email to your order confirmation
  • One dispatch per order
  • If you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"

  • Complimentary gift notes can be submitted via a reply message to your order confirmation email

  • Great stuff Tom, keep it up. Love your CX as much as I do your coffee.
    Cheers

    • +1

Woohoo for that wonderful, complimentary message to kick off the comments :)

Thank you so much for that terrific vote of confidence @Motozine I'm wrapped to know these feature upgrades we've implemented have kept us in your good books and I promise we'll keep working hard to stay there!

  • +1

Great stuff, Tom. I'd definitely take advantage but I'm sitting on 2kg of Bolivia SO and 1kg of Brazil SO. if anyone has any hesitations, don't. Fantastic quality of product and service. Glad to hear of the improvements!

    • Morning @LINK91 absolutely fantastic to hear our post-order experience improvements are a winner for you :)

Thank you so much for your terrific orders thus far, continued support and amazing complimentary words!!!

p.s. if it helps, don't forget you can place orders as far in advance as 19 December, but if you're all set for the rest of the year that's perfectly fine and I respect the planning ahead skills so you never need to worry about running out of the good stuff :)

  • Perfect! Adding to my order now. About to run out of decaf and was going to buy it elsewhere, but now will just add it to my order. Thanks Tom!

    • WOO WOOT love when timing lines up perfectly!

Thank you so much for making an addition (with our new feature upgrades) to what I'm sure was already a terrific order, the original and post-purchase addition are both truly appreciated :)

      • Hmm, my order cannot be edited from mobile. Will try laptop. If that doesn't work, will need to email you instead. Sorry for the hassles.

        • No stress at all, you're always welcome to email!

It should work fine for both mobile and laptop. If the order you're trying to edit has a "View your order" button in the order confirmation, rather than a "edit or view your order" that means it was placed prior to the tech upgrades so likely won't have access to them, but all new orders should work well with the system :)

  • Looking to place an order for 3x 1kg bags but I'm only seeing a delayed dispatch as late as November 7. Is there any possibility of having that delayed even further?

    • Morning @tryonthis nice double check!

Most products you're able to delay dispatch up until 19 December, however there's one current product you're only able to delay dispatch up until 7 November and that's our Kenya Single Origin. If you remove the Kenya from your cart you'll see more dispatch dates open up beyond 7 November. If you're really keen on trying out our Kenya, perhaps you could place a small Kenya order for dispatch 7 November and a large Moments order for dispatch later in the year. Otherwise you could place the 1 order for 3kg for 7 Nov dispatch and simply freeze the extra bags until you're ready for them, as this will drastically slow oxidation, thus extend freshness for months while frozen :)

  • Tom and everyone, opinions please?
    Kenya SO or Colombia SO?
    Thanks!

    • Nice question!

I love them both. However, I do have a favourite out of the two that wins by a small amount, but it's really down to personal flavour preference. I'd say go by the following:

If you're after notes of red fruits and blackcurrant with a medium acidity kick then go our Colombia. If you're after more citrus fruit notes and a high acidity kick then go our Kenya :)

    • Why not both? Serious question, as you can pop the bag of coffee into and airtight container (I just use a heavy-duty zip-lock bag) and freeze it for long term storage. Take it out the night before and allow to thaw to room temperature before using. You don’t even have to thaw all of it, just decant what you need into a smaller airtight container.

      • Hard to argue with such sound logic…as always thanks for your 2 cents @Chazzozz :)

    • Colombian SO is my favourite and I have tried most of what Lime Blue has offered.

      • Thanks. I do freeze my coffee as am the only one who drinks it in my family. Am ordering 4kgs in total so the freezer will be well used. Haha

Tom, have emailed you to change and add to my order but no reply yet. So am hoping you get it. Thanks again! 🙂

        • WOOHOO for that outstanding order, thank you so much, it's truly does mean so much!!!

Glad the request you emailed on Thursday was actioned and replied to on Friday.

Love you're freezing skills to ensure you never need to worry about running out of the good stuff :)

      • Espresso or pourover?

        • Espresso. Usually black.

      • Wonderful to hear @slashor thank you so much for the compliment and continued support, it's truly appreciated!

Nice choice for a favourite, I think our Colombia Cauca Single Origin sure is s special one :)

  • Another order placed - thanks Tom. You are a legend.

The medium bean brings such cheer,
With a flavor that's perfectly clear.
Not too strong, not too light,
    It's pure coffee delight,
And it fills every cup with good cheer!

    • Woohoo thank you so much for another terrific order and such a creatively worded vote of confidence!!!

Your poem brought a smile to this side of the screen, sincerely appreciate your effort :)

  • I am hanging out for that Peru Chanchamayo Single Origin…Best coffee I have tasted from you guys!

    • Duly noted and thank you so much for that outstanding compliment!!!

Based on your enjoyment of our Peru Single Origin, I believe our Moments to Memories may also be a winner for you to tie you over :)

      • Another order placed! Hopefully you have the Peru again soon though 😊

        • Fantastic, thank you so much for another terrific order, it's truly appreciated :)

  • Thank you! need to restock the decaf

    • +1

      Fantastic, thank you so much!

Very happy you're not going to run out of the good stuff :)

  • +1

    Ordered again

But like Airjo the RRP is becoming redundant with these constant / frequent 30/40% off deals ….

    • Not really an issue though when they come around every few months and you can schedule your order.

Clearly it’s specific beans/blends that are coming onsale. Other single origin beans remain un-discounted. I assume from a business model the bulk discounted products are the bread & butter that keeps things running, the products sold at full price are the cream in top.

      Keep it up Tom! 👍🏻

      • WOW what a wonderful message to see from you @braddsey thank you so much for that uplifting vote of confidence, it's truly appreciated!!!

You're spot on that our deals are generally for only a small portion of our offerings. Usually deals are only for 1-3 products out of generally 12-15 different coffees on offer. The impact of discount and full-priced order I find to be a bit of a tango, they work together well as a team and when 1 does well they both do well, so looking at the whole picture from a holistic perspective the impact of the two hold equal importance from how they shape the Lime Blue of tomorrow.

@Maglia Nera first off, thank you souch for another order, your continued support really does mean a lot and is not something we take for granted!

Second, yes we have increased the amount of 40% off deal's in recent time, but we have also increased the amount of new Single Origins we've been releasing so it is relative. The combination of both discounted and full priced orders both working together in unison, combined with engagingly proactive correspondence from our terrific customers not only keeps our lights on, but also helps shape the future Lime Blue Coffee in a way that hopefully further improves the customer experience and it's an experience we'll keep working hard to further improve. Without the increase in deal's over the last few months we likely wouldn't have had the information that directly led to all the tech feature improvements announced in the deal and there's no way we would have been able to keep our prices as relatively stable as we have given coffee costs are the highest they've been in close to 20 years. Furthermore, deal's are based on a number of factors some of which are customer appetite for deals (if people were ordering less from deal fatigue we'd go back to the old prior deal frequency), what products are doing well from a full-priced order perspective…on that last note for years we've been getting full-priced orders every day, but with our recent uptick in deals and working on further improving customer engagement/communication (still a work in progress) we've seen a disproportionate increase of full-priced order. In other words from a % increase perspective the increase in deal's and communication (e.g. improvments) has had a notable positive impact on the amount of full-priced orders we've seen coming in.

Stay tuned because we're currently working on further enhancing the Lime Blue Coffee experience this year beyond any other improvment we've made in the last 12 months :)

  • It's like you know when I'm running low on beans lol

    • Woot Woot love to hear about perfect timing as we can't have you running out of the good stuff!!!

Thank you so much for another fantastic order :)

  • Hi Tom the moments to memories isn't being discounted when editing a previous order

    • Hey @bumluffa appreciate the double check!

I just had a look and all appears to be working as it should, that said the visual formatting is a tad different in the post-purchase experience (something we're still working on). Airing on the side of caution could you please send a screenshot of what you're seeing as a reply message to your order confirmation?

  • Hey Tom,
Been a while but cant remember what your strongest bean(s) for black espresso are (no milk or sugar) ? Thanks

    • Hey @heretisj appreciate the check in!

Just to ensure I provide a helpful answer, by strong, do you mean the strongest chocolate flavour notes?

      • Tom

By strong i mean dark roasted beans best drunk as espresso (black)

        • Got it!

We don't to a "dark profile," but I suspect you're after more of a coffee/chocolate flavoured espresso, as such I'd recommend either our Moments to Memoires blend, Brazil Single Origin or our Swiss Water Process Decaf. If you're keen for strong bitter notes and your normal go to beans are notably oily/shiny then our roast profiles may not be the best fit for you. However, if you're keen on terrific depth of flavour and nice balance between sweet, sour, bitter, salty, umani (savoury) and then I'd highly recommend one of the 3 options mentioned earlier in the message :)

  • +2

    Hi,
is it only possible to get whole beans or can they be ground?

    • +1

I am also interested in pre-ground options.

      • +1

Hey @wordplay and @rawrxp appreciate you taking the time to double check!

Right now only whole beans are available, but you should be able to snap up a decent burr grinder online without breaking the bank and in doing so your coffee flavour enjoyment should hopefully improve ten fold :)

  • My first order with you guys so giving all three a go, really looking forward to half strength and a decent cup of decaf.

    • WOW what a terrific first combo order to place, thank you so much it really does mean so much!!!

Fantastic to know you're looking forward to your first fresh coffee order from us, fingers crossed you absolutely love it :)

  • 4 x 500gSwiss Water Process Decaf = $68.38

You’re only $0.62 away from free shipping!

fine, you win Tom. ill add an extra bag

to explain the $85 credit card charges i just tell my wife i have a really good caffeine dealer

    • haha I'm not a math genius, so I promise the 62 cent miss wasn't an elaborate plan by me :)

Thank you so much for another outstanding order, your continued support truly means so much!!!

p.s. all you hopefully need to do is make your wife the first coffee of the order to get back in her good books…love the irony of blaming your "really good caffeine dealer" for the order as your open an order full of Decaf, something about imagining you explaining that to your Wife without laughing made me laugh, so thank you so making me laugh :)

      • the decaf keeps her sleepy so she doesnt notice the finer details like the credit card bill :)

  • These guys are normally pretty good but have noticed they’ve started doing the thing where they will lodge the shipping information with AusPost and call it “shipped” so work this into your dispatch date selection (my dispatch was Thursday and all it is now on Saturday is “shipping information received”).

    • +2

Hey @orangecarpet-22 never hurts to double check!

I can promise you with absolute certainty all orders on have been dispatched on time as promised, as is the norm. As per the information in the tracking email you will not see a tracking update until you order has been completely processed through the first Australia Post parcel sorting facility. Australia Post accepts our parcels in pallitised cages loaded directly onto their semi-trucks from our HQ, so they don't scan the parcels when they are collected. Tracking is point to point, not live, so you'll only see updates after the fact. For example, tracking if you're in NSW, the Australia Post tracking will likely still show the parcel as being in VIC even after its actually in NSW, up until it's processed through the first NSW sorting facility. I know it'd be wonderful if tracking was live and Australia Post scanned all the parcels when they picked them up, but unfortunately we're not yet at a scale where we can make Australia Post improve these aspects of they operations (we'll continue to provide feedback to our account manager and hope that things will improve with their tracking systems). Another thing to note is we're getting to the time of year where Australia Post gets busier and with that they get slower as and all is takes to cause a delay is a truck to get a flat tyre. You're welcome to send us an email if you haven't already done so and we'll be happy to double check there's no delays on the Australia Post side of things for you :)

      • Thank you for the detailed reply and correcting me on how shipping works. The pallets being picked up without individual scanning makes perfect sense.

  • Based on community endorsement grabbed 3kg to try out.

    • WOOHOO what an amazing first order, thank you so much for your order, it's truly appreciated and an opportunity I promise we won't take for granted!

p.s. thank you so much for to this fantastic community for your wonderful votes of confidence, it really does mean so much and does have a positive impact as is evident from @IammeandI comment :)

  • Great stuff thanks, just a bit sad no more timtams :(

    • Fantastic to know we're in your good books, I promise we'll keep working hard to stay there!

Don't be sad Tim Tams, instead rejoice that you can now enjoy a tasty Loctus Biscoff Biscuit with each order :)

p.s. as previously mentioned there were a number of reasons we made the switch, one important reason repeat manufacture issues we experienced, so Tim Tam sadness complaints should be directly forwarded to the manufacturer haha

  • Placed an order to try out 1KG.

Question, what are the origins of the coffees used in the Moments blend? I couldn’t seem to see it listed on the product page. I’m guessing Brazil plus something else?

    • Fantastic to hear, thank you so much for the order, it really does mean so much!

In terms of our blends, we focus on year round consistent flavour notes, as opposed to listing component origins. For coffees with specific origin listings we have a number of rotating Single Origins we feature :)

  • Ordered these for my delonghi s automatic and to make cold brew.

Not expecting much because of the limitations with the machine, but at this price, it's worth a shot.

    • Terrific, thank you so much for giving us a shot and placing your first order with us, it's truly appreciated!

I hope you really love our fresh coffee and that it marks the start of a new delicious chapter for the journey you're having with your machine :)

  • Thanks, just ordered 3kg :D

    • WOOT WOOT outstanding order, thank you so much, hope you have a blast hosting your very own coffee party!!!

  • Great work team, just placed another order for 6.5kg Went around the office and asked who wanted some good beans.

    • +1

WOW WOW WOW what a spectacular order and what is the absolute icing on the cake it that it's a team order, absolutely love your spruiking skills!!!

Thank you so much for another amazing order and continuing to help spread the word about Lime Blue Coffee, it's immensely appreciated and something I promise we'll never take for granted :)

  • Do you have espresso recipes for each bean? Ratio, time, temp, etc?

    • We sure do!

Every bag we dispatched has brew guides on them :)

      • What’s the guide for your Kenya single origin? How light is it roasted?

  • Received mine today, roasted 2 days ago

I'm planning on vacuum sealing from 1kg into 500g bags, but do I need to wait for degassing or do it now?

    • +1

Hey @TEER3X Might want to email directly as this is an old thread so Tom may not check it.

      • +1

Thanks I figured it out based off online answers, wait 3-5 days

        Coffee is pretty darn good!
