Hope everyone is enjoying the start of Autumn :)

We've got some tasty morsels on offer. A vibrant natural espresso from El Salvador is tasting great in my morning double espresso hehe. While, the feedback on filter has been heard!! Atypical are offering up a classic, clean washed filter from Peru. No need to fear that funky naturals are the only cool kid in town :)

Quick update from the Atypical team RE: Packaging: "Tins are currently out of stock, so we've swapped over to 250g Detpak paper bags (Same brand used for 1kg bags) for the time being. Hope this doesn't cause any issues!"

The silver lining of this change is that the pencil has been sharpened on pricing as these bags are a touch cheaper than tins.

We know it's been a rough period with pricing (Global C Price has doubled in the last 12 months), but we do have one welcome reprieve. Market Lane are delaying their price rices until May. So last months deal will be extended :)

And like an old comfortable t shirt, it's always nice to welcome back the AXIL blends.

I might grab the Candid based upon the above comment.

Are all of the big specials the ones you have mentioned in the examples table above?

  At the moment the app that does discounts is separate to what we use to display products and collections on the site so no easy way I’m afraid. That’s a big reason for OzB!

Ordered some Atypical yesterday but so disappointed by the Code Black price rises.

The 250g 3056 and Ex-Wife blends blends were $12.50 a few months ago. What gives with the 30% price increase? Used to order them regularly but can't justify that price increase.

  Really fair response - I must admit I was taken aback by the price increases when they first emailed me.
  
  I think to zoom all the way out, the global increase in coffee prices are a factor but not the only one. Zooming a bit further in, I think this is also a symptom of not doing incremental price increases over the last few years. Unlike other suppliers who have made annual increases, Code Black has only had 2 increases in the 5 years we've bought from them. So I think there's also an element of 'catch up' that makes the percentage hit harder.
