    Thanks got one.

Cheers OP, was $15.00 exactly for me at checkout.

  • $15.41 for me

    • 14.9 for me

  • what if you just need 1440p? Can it run 144hz in 1440p?

    • Shouldn't be an issue as 4K@60Hz uses more bandwidth than 1440@144Hz and it would be HDMI 2.0.

If this thing consumes 13W, as they say, it will be as hot as a cellphone running Antutu (and shutting down/throttling due to overheating). Add Australian sun and heatwave and beware. Some USB-C powered devices may bypass top voltage to anything on the output ports and burn it. This tends to happen with chargers and powerbanks, but I am not sure if this device is protected. Be careful, guys.

Yeppers. I bought one of these with a displayport output. Good Christ, I could just about brand cattle with it. I'm not joking, the thing gets scary hot.

How’s the quality? The last one I had from Amazon conked pretty quickly.

I feel that Baseus is not great in terms of quality. I have their powerbank and cables. They all die after 1.5 years.

Ugreen and Anker might be more expensive but so far all my Ugreen/Anker stuff are still going after 5 years.

      • Might check out Ugreen/Anker then, cheers!

        • If you are a portable usb C dock, check out the Ugreen dual HDMI or triple display docks. They are all on sale.

Have to agree. my Ugreen and Anker products have never let me down and are my go to products.

I have learned a long time ago there is no such thing as a "good cheap product". It is either good or cheap.

      • I am using Baseus reading light which is very good quality and working fine after years but their charging cables usually die after few months.

    • You can have a look of my comment below, I have a slightly different spec one.

  • I have one with different specs purchased in China, Baseus UltraJoy Series 5-port hub docking station. Mine comes with one USB-C with PD100W input, three USB3.0, one HDMI 4k@60hz. Works well now using four of the five ports, have one more USB3 port available.

Any deals on hdmi switches? I just found out they exist! Something like https://amzn.asia/d/dYf1ihu, but need to get short cables somehow I guess.

  • I have a dual4k Samsung widescreen monitor @120Hz. Is there anything that would allow this resolution via USB C?

    • Not that I know of. There are Thunderbolt 4 docks like the WD22-TB4, however that particular one can only do 4K60 (but to multiple monitors).
Not sure if there are any real USB-4 docks out yet, but you'd need a laptop with USB-4 to take advantage of that.

  • Would this hub do USB-C "pass-through" ?

I only have 1 x USB-C slot and I use that with an external 15" OLED monitor.

  • Thanks OP. Bought one

  • Hi,
If I connect the HDMI cable from my TV to the hub, and conect usb c cable of the hub to my laptop through the extension cable (3meter usb c female to male), will that work?

    • +1

Depends how good your extension cable is.
If its a nice thick one that is heavily shielded and has good quality low-resistance USB-C connectors, and is rated for "USB-C DP Alt Mode" then it might work, but no gaurantee.
You're better of having a short USB-C cable to the HUB then a 3M HDMI cable to the TV.
