Given you can get a Raspberry Pi 4 for under $100, what makes the other components worth $550 more for the RRP?
Seems like a highly inflated price to spruke a fake discount?

    • They are an educational supplier which normally comes with a premium because schools have to be able to order with purchase orders. So the eduction technology providers normally are much more expensive. But that original pricing is a bit crazy.

The Brainary are actually a really good crew and work with teachers to support them. Unlike some of the less ethical ones that just overcharge for crap. I remember one reseller who was selling a Tactix toolbox which was about $90 at Bunnings. They had slapped a sticker over the Tactix logo with STEAM KIT on it and were charging schools $500. Absolute robbery.

But at $650 RRP, isn't this much the same?
Anyway the RRP has been removed from the site now, haha.

    • I have robotics set since I wanted to shield kids from going into GPIO and other stuff. Problem is that SDK is buggy, lots of issues, even when i compare to lego prime set lego is more flexible and kids friendly. So if you buy this set for playing with sensor, i would not do it, id rather buy raspberry pi with AI kit.
