    lol

    • i wonder what $4999 could do if you brought a $999.99 pc every 2 yrs for 10 yrs. vs this. lol.

      • +1

Two $2500 PCs every 5 years makes a lot more sense for longevity……
Why give yourself a subpar experience that needs to be replaced in 2 years when you can run near max for 5+ (excluding path tracing).

        • +1

Was just a hypothetical, originally I was gonna say 1k pc every year lol.

Would be funny if was a family of 5 kids and the PCs keep gettin handrd down

  • +6

It's an interesting sales pitch for a bargain website.

"This is not value for money"
"We are marketing to people unfamiliar with the word budget"

Not sure that demographic is particularly prevalent here.

  • +3

    Woah, that's a $550 AIO

    • insanity

  • +3

I get it, I do. But for that money I'd want at least a 1000w PSU

  • +4

this ASUS ROG brand just way too much overpriced

  • +11

dont like to neg but 4080s for $5k is not a bargain

  • +4

kinda cray that the 4999 machine doesn't even have a 4090

  • +6

imagine spending $5k on a PC and it doesn't come with the 7800X3D.

  • +4

    the ROG tax, utter trash

  • +3

$400 tower, $700 MB, $500 AIO, if that's not excessive I don't know what is

  • +3

    That's a wild sales pitch for a rig without a 4090 lol

  • +2

    4080s for $5k is not a bargain

  • +2

If you don’t know what budget means

I'm sure we can teach you…

  • Crap deal

  • +2

My wife probably wouldn’t divorce me for buying a $5k gaming PC, but she would probably divorce me if I bought one with that edgelord case.

  • +1

I built one myself with similar specs at end of 2022 with 13700k/4080TUF and 1 tb 980pro, 32g dominator 5600(ddr5 was very expensive at that time, now only half price). z790 -E( $831 from amazon us ,the most regret buy) with better power supply. the total cost was around $4800AUD , source from amazon/mwave/shopping express/ebay etc.
also took me around 1 week to put all together.

    total cost around $4800.

the lucky part is my 13700k is normal with stress test.

it would probably cheaper to get HP OMEN 4090 instead of much cheaper price for non-diyer.

  • I understand there is a market for machines like this, but this is Ozbargains.

  • Its a Aliexpress PC

  • Galapower have been offering some great deals lately. This is not one of them.

  • Holy moly STRIX cards shouldn’t even be on a bargain site… They’re for flexing how much money you can burn for internet updoots lol
